We are heading to Disney for a week in February - President's week. I know Disney will be very busy - does Universal get very crowded then also?

We were hoping to hit IOA in the morning and then head over to US after lunch. How have the lines for the Simpson's ride been - will the lines be crazy by that point? Is is doable to do both parks in 1 day this week?

i think you will need more than 1 day to do both parks during that time period.

if you start early before the park opens, you can do most of the highlights at IOA before the crowds. crowds usually are there around 11ish in the day.

when you jump over to the studios side, there are many rides and attractions and might not be able to get them all in that same day.

one way you can gauge the crowd level is to check the price of the EPP's for the date you are going.
if the price per person is $19.99, then that indicates a low crowd day.
if the price is $45 per person, i don't think you can do both parks in the one day.
