I'm planning a trip for 2007. I'm trying to decide between Feb. 4-13 or Sept. 16-25. We want to go off season (we have no children to woory about school). I understand it can still be rather cool or even cold in Feb, but Sept is in the middle of hurricane season. Our anniversary happens to be in Sept (part of the reason I'ld like to go then).

When would you go and why???

I'm currently contemplating May or Jan/Feb/March. My parents are coming home from WDW today and haven't had any problems with crowds, but the weather has been very humid. It was overcast for most of the week. I've never gone in February (but I'd like to b/c my b-day is 2/27!) But this year DH and I went 3/5-3/12. We had the best time-- very low crowds, and the weather was perfect. It was chilly early in the morning and when the sun went down, we needed jackets or sweatshirts. But during the day it was in the upper 70s to low 80s. It only rained one day-- of course it was downpouring practically the WHOLE day, but we put our ponchos on and went into the World SHowcase in Epcot!

I've gone to WDW many times in the summer-- and personally I like it better when it's cooler. You can always buy a Mickey sweatshirt if it gets chilly! But the summer humidity sometimes is just unbearable, it can really slow you down. But that's just my opinion.

Oh and our anniversary is 9/26-- 2 years on Monday!

Happy planning:-)

mhingher-happy anniversary
We hit 6 years this past Sunday 9/18.

Thanks for your input. One reason I'm concerned about the temp is because we really want to go to the water parks. Also I always seem to get SOAKED on Kali River Rapids in AK. I'm not looking for HOT weather, but fairly warmer.

Thanks, Happy anniversary to you too!

If you're looking to go on the water rides I would say go in September. I heard it can get warm in January-- but it can also be cold, hit or miss. I think you're much more likely to get water park weather in September. And I would love to spend my anniversary there!!!
