Hi all,

I am planning on a trip in 2010 with extended family and I was wondering what month would be better - Feb. or Mar. I know this is early but I need to think happy warm thoughts because we are freezing here in snowy NW PA. Any thoughts on which is better?

Thanks

Hi,

If you go in February, make sure you avoid President's Day week, which is very busy. The rest of February is pretty manageable. The other caveat about February is the weather is completely unpredictable. You could have warm days (80s) with chilly mornings, or you could have mornings near freezing with afternoons in the 40s or 50s. Or you could have a little of both...or you could have something in between. So if you are going in February, pack a little of everything!

On the other hand, the weather in May is warm but not oppressively humid yet, and crowds are low until you get to Memorial Day weekend.

We are going in 2010, too. :cheer2:

I would think February will be better. Prices are lower, I am pretty sure that's still value season and May is peak season. May starts getting busier, whereas February is still a little more dead.

I would pick February, myself..nothing beats getting out of the cold and heading to Disneyworld! pixiedust:
