February Exercise Challenge - Your Heart will LOVE you for it!!

Here I am again. I've been here before, but its been a while. I'd like to join up for the Feb. challenge. This month, my main motivation is doing more than just the usual routine (vacuuming, sweeping, lifting laundry, etc.). So, tonight as my own kick off I did a Leslie Sansone kickboxing/walk dvd, took a wog (walk/jog), and even tried a Flirty Girl thing I found on youtube. I hope to loose 16 lbs .

So, no log for now, just getting my butt in gear and committing. Thanks all for understanding and lending an ear.

I can't believe January is almost history and February is upon us! It's National HEART month, so take care of yours by getting it moving!! Hidy ho everyone! Hope everyone is having a magical day! I did 55 minutes on the treadmill Tuesday and 60 minutes on the treadmill yesterday, Wednesday so my total so far is 391/876.

Almost 50%! Woohoo! Yeehaw!

I've been very happy with myself, going to the gym almost everyday and also playing tennis 3-4 times of week has been awesome! I played my first round of outdoor tennis today for a little bit and I'm so happy that all of the snow has melted off the courts. My last number was 305 and now I am at 1025!!! I'm very happy, ten days to go and I have 475 more minutes to go! Good luck everyone and keep at it

I really love this challenge. It turns out I'm not great at posting as I rack up my minutes, but I am keeping up with where I stand in my journal, and the pledged minutes are a real motivator to keep going to the Y. WooHoo for all of us!
 
I'm doing OK though today I didn't get as much time in as I would have WISHED. We were out of town overnight and I just didn't have as much time as I would have liked. Still

Wednesday: 60 Min on the Treadmill
Thursday: 60 Min on the Stationary Bike
Friday: 60 Min on the Treadmill
Today: 30 Min on the Stationary Bike

In three days I've done roughly 300minutes of exercise. (2/17, 2/18, and 2/21). Yes, I"m the type who takes exercise to the extreme when I'm focused, but safely. Here's a dance called Shim Sham that was fun to do, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hubzPVG3f28. Keep doing it and your feet become less tangled.
