February Exercise Challenge updated 2/22/05

:wave2:
Hi Everyone,
I am a little late posting my numbers but here they are. As of 1/7/05: 200/1000.
I have 800 minutes to go. I have done more minutes since the seventh so I think I am back on track. My work schedule has changed slightly so I have figured out a way to get in 2 or 3, ten to fifteen minute mini-workouts. That should help to get in a few extra minutes. :Pinkbounc

Hi, Tammy! I'm 18.5/40 miles for this month so far! Almost halfway to goal!

Hi Everyone! I got a bit behind in the challenge this past week but I still did ok:) I'm currently at 505/1500. LOL a third of the way there but half the month down. I did 2 hours today and I plan on doing that for a while so hopefully I'll still make goal :cool1:

I just finished my TM'ing for the morning. I am now at 475/1000. Everyone is doing great, keep it up. We have got to stay motivated just past January and February, I'm really talking about me:) I need all the help I can get because I don't want to lose my momentum and start slacking off. I really want to be in great shape for the 1/2 next year. Have a wonderful day!

O.k., I'm posting my numbers for last week

Mon. 7th 70
Tue. 8th 45
Wed. 9th 45
Thurs. 10 70
Fri. 11th 60
Sat resting
Sun. 13th 45

Total for week 2: 335

Hi, everyone! You are all doing so great! What an inspiration!
Well, as of today, I have in 530/1000 minutes -- more than halfway and halfway through the month, so I think I am on target. Have also chalked up 37.55 miles/50 miles. Hope everyone else is about halfway to their monthly goal, since it is a short month!
Looking forward to getting to goal before the end up the month, especially since I will be away 2/25-27. Have to reach exercise goals before 2/25.
Good luck everyone!

Hello :)

Feb Week 2 exercise = 600 minutes

That puts me at 1095/2000

Thanks,
Sunny

Thanks for getting everything updated Melissa. We owe her a great big hug everybody. :grouphug:

edited to add:

Please remember to give Melissa your updates in the ___/goal format. We don't want her having to calculate everyone's totals. If we make this easy on her, maybe she'll be willing to do the spreadsheet in the future. ;)

Here's week 2's totals:

February 8th 65 minutes
February 9th 105 minutes
February 10th 115 minutes
February 11th 105 minutes
February 12th 30 minutes
February 13th 0 minutes
February 14th 90 minutes

For a total of 510 and a grand total of 1025/2000

875 minutes to go...

Hi everyone! I did 160 minutes of exercise this week taking me to 270/700 for the month so far.

Everyone is doing great, keep it up. :cheer2:

I knew this would be a bad week, with DDs surgery, but I had no idea that I'd only exercise twice in a week! :earseek: 89 minutes this past week...new total 234/500, not even 1/2 way at the half way mark.

Great job everyone (else)!

THANKS MELISSA!!! :grouphug:

Boo-hoo! :sad1: I was sick most of last week so I have fallen way behind. As of yesterday, I am 348/1000. I'm so discouraged. :(

tsk, tsk, Norma! None of that talk! 348 is extremely better than 0!!! Hope you're feeling better and can get back into your routine soon! :sunny:

I'm not much ahead of you and I'm up for 1000 minutes. You are doing good you can make it. :) :Pinkbounc

I updated those that got totals in tonight and since I had to change my own because I decided to do weight work tonight at gym and went 30 minutes over my time I added for today.

Well, I did well this weekend considering I have been having some round ligament pain. I managed to walk for a total of 100 min. So when you update again, please change my stats to 100/400. Thanks! :flower:

Okay you two are updated now. :)

I think with some hard work I can still make my goal even though I'm a little behind. I've just set up a routin schedule for the rest of the month and wrote them on my calendar.

Its great I set out a plan to do cardio and lifting on days 1,3,5 and cardio and abs on 2,4. :) It was a basic beginners program on my gyms web site and sounds like it will work for me. I was shocked they only want you to start with 1 set of 8-12 reps on the lifting. Thats what I did lastnight it took 45 minutes to do the circuit and then the oblique ab machine too and some stretching.

If all goes well this will be the first month I've reached my goal. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc And I'm sure I'll lose a few lbs out of it. :) Can't wait to see what all my hard work will do in weight.
