February Crowds? Especially Feb. 5-12

Cheerleading and dance competitions this year. Will they be there again for the same dates in 2006? TIA!!!

Those competitions may have a lsight impact and make attendance bump up a little but it will not be too bad. As long as you avoid times where schools are closed WDW crowds will always be manageable.

Ha ha ha...if THAT was a slight impact, I would hate to see what WDW is like when school is out!!! I found the crowds to be pretty bad (in relation to the same week in 2004) and the cheerleaders/dancers where breaking in line everywhere and *some* of them were rude. (Some were precious!!!)

Yes, you WOULD hate to see what it's like when school is out!

Cheerleaders and dancers tend to hang together and clog up walkways and lines for rides. But they are also there to perform in their competitions.

Imagine mobs of cheerleaders and dancers EVERYHWERE! That's Christmas week, Thanksgiving weekend, Easter week, and much of July and August.

I've gone down Feb 4-8 (give or take a day) for the past 2 years and it's dead in the parks. Enjoy no wait

We went in Feb.05 and we stayed at POR and had no problems with the cheerleaders. When we went to MK on the Tuesday and were ready to leave early because I had PS at Trails End, we encountered tones of them waiting for wishes to start. They weren't rude or annoying at all. I had heard how bad they can be and was worried about them. The year before we stayed at ASM and noticed them more and one day on the bus to AK the a group of them sang to my 3 kids.

We went Feb. 5-9, '05. MK was pure gridlock on Monday, Feb. 7. I think a big part of it was Mardi Gras. Other than that, it was fine. We saw no cheerleaders. I think they showed up after we left. The weather was great.

We were there in Feb 2004 and never saw any cheeleaders or dancers that we knew of. The weather was awesome and the parks were empty...wouldn't hesitate going that time again.
