I just saw on Mousesavers that there are codes out for 11/3-11/25 and 11/30-12/25. With these out (must be booked by 10/28), will it be the end of Oct., first of Nov. before we have a chance of the February codes coming out? Our trip is hinging on these codes. Our reservations are made, but I don't think we can go without the codes. Does anybody remember how everything went last year?

patiently waiting for a code for Feb also
others on the boards have said mid oct last year
If I don't get a code there is no way we can go
Even with the code we may have to post pone trip
Please send pixie dust for codes before my hair falls out

Usually discount codes are released about three months out. Hang in there and keep in eye on mousesavers. I have a feeling that word will come in early November.

They are lagging a bit behind this year on all codes. The Jan/Feb AP rate codes came out in mid September during 2000 & 2001.

hi, I too am patiently waiting for codes. Check Mary's site, you can sign up to receive email notification everytime the site is updated. I'm using this to keep on top of the whole codes thing.
Good luck!
Watch-it:Mousesavers updates

I also am waiting for the Feb. codes and/or Ap rates to come out! I am signed up for Watch-It (this is a great way to stay on top of things!)Hopefully the first person to find out about discounts will post here! This is the first site I check each Morning. Thanks, Joan

I'm waiting for Feb. codes too. I've been signed up with WatchIt for about a month now. If I see anything, I will be sure to post it, and hope others do likewise.

I heard from one of these boards a while back that there aren't codes during February because it's one of the busiest times. Anyone know if it's true? We are going during President's Week -- a very busy time as the school are out.

Carol: Most likely if any codes come out for Jan/Feb they will end on the last day of value season which is February 12. This is how the codes ended up this past Jan/Feb.

We'll be checking in on February 12 so I'm waiting for codes too!!

We've gone the last few years during President's week and loved it! We've always had great weather and were able to stay on site using a code. The crowds have never been too bad. I'm looking every day on mousesavers for those codes! We already have our plane tickets and rental car.

This will be our first trip during February too. Checking in on the 12th, waiting for the codes too. I too get updates from mousesavers, thanks to this board. Have a great trip! Bev

Lots of Mass and New England February'ians waiting for codes. We also will be checking in on the 12th.

<center> :bounce: :bounce: We need codes :bounce: :bounce:

We're looking for the codes for Feb also, however we're going the week before most of you, checking in on the 6th, check out on the 13th for 3 days on the Wonder. So far, we're booked at the All Star, but I'm hoping for the codes to upgrade to at least POFQ. (By the way, I'm from NE originally, but now in misery, oops - Missouri) ;-)

Have you looked into AAA discounts? We are also waiting on codes for Feb of 2003 but we were able to book room only at CSR getting 25% off with a AAA discount. $106.40 plus tax a night comapred to $133 plus tax a night. I am hoping the codes or AP rates can get this down to $89 or $94 a night plus tax.

Tiffany... I think your AAA discount is 20% (same as Disney Club).

Disney Cape Codder ... Which codes have you used in the past during President's Week?

carolb3 ... We went during President's Week last year and AAA, Disney Club and American Express all had discounts. Perhaps VISA will offer one this year since they are now the card of choice at WDW. ~:D~

Does anyone know if you check in on the 12th with a discounted rate and then the rates change on the 13th,do you keep your rate of the 12th for all nites? Or would you pay one nite dicounted and then the 13th on at the regular rate??Thanks for the help if anyone can clear this up! It may be worth it to come a day early!;) Joan

The rate you are charged on the day of your check-in will be the rate you are charged your entire stay, pretty cool if you are going from Value to Peak, not so cool if it's the other way around. ~:D~

SuzyQue,

You are correct SuzyQue. I was doing $133/1.25=$106.40 so that is why I thought I was getting 25% off.

But I see that if you do $133 * .25 = $33.25 so $133 - $33.25 = $99.75.

Now if I do $133 * .20 = $26.60 so $133 - 26.60 = $106.40 which is what I am paying. I stand corrected.

The cancelation policy I think is better with the AAA rate as I have the 5 day prior cancelation policy instead of 21 or 45 days.

Hoping to get a lower rate with an AP discount anyway.

That seems like a good room rate. We are paying $103/nite for ASMo. That's with the AAA discount and also includes the tax.

Hi Carolb3,

We are going from the 1st through the 6th which is value season. Are you arriving on or after the 13th? I believe peak season starts on the 13th.

For Curtessy who is going on the Wonder--

We went on the Wonder last year during February vacation and got a special rate of $99/night at the Swan/Dolphin that was only available to cruisers. I believe mousesavers mentioned a similar special for cruisers but the price may be higher. You will love the cruise!

The year before we stayed at CBR for around $79 or $89 with a code but I can't remember what it was.
