if you sign up on the Face book forum for this cruise there is a link where you can sign up for several fun things we want to do on this cruise. I hope you will sign up for something there. Not much details listed but events will be on sea days for the most part. Details to come soon.

Click on the sign up for the FE, then you can sign up for that if you want, or go to the bottom of that page for links to other events this group is doing.
I don't remember all of them but there is a Mixology sign up, a scrapbooking meet, a ladies only meet, a Valentines themed cookie recipe exchange, and more.

If you have any questions about any of these events please ask.

My DW ("The Lady Jay", better known as Jacky) and I just booked this cruise for next February. We were on the Fantasy's Maiden Voyage (!!!), which was an absolute blast, and needed to renew our acquaintanceship with the ship.

I haven't had a chance to read the posts on this thread yet, but may I just say we're looking forward to sailing with y'all!

BTW, I've never been a cupid before. Should be an interesting experience!

The maiden voyage does sound like fun. We were on the Fantasy last November and just had an awesome time. I lose count but I think I have 25 DCL cruises so far and 2 more booked. I often forget to add them to my signature, but I think it is right.

I am Kathy and DH is Greg. No kids with us, just us this time.

I havn't been a Cupid either but I have been a Pachyderm, a Banana head 3 times and a few more names that escape me at the moment, another senior moment

I hope you will keep on posting. So many say Hello and we never hear from them again until 3 like days before the cruise. I think I scare them away with all my chit chat here. I am not exactly shy.

Got to get my dogs out for a break before the thunderstorm cuts loose. Here in Florida we get storms every afternoon and my dogs are terrified and wont go out when they hit.

Hot and humid here in CT. Anxious for the cruise. Any suggestions on clothes to bring. Heard that it would be good to have warmer clothes.

We have been on these islands in the winter many times and never needed warm clothes. It has always been in the 80's, sometimes an afternoon shower which feels good and cools it off some.

Now on Castaway Cay I have had to wear long pants and a wind breaker many times during the winter, but even then late afternoon was nice.
Of course being from Florida what feels cool to me may be hot to someone from a cooler state.

I usually take a hooded sweatshirt and one long pair of jeans for late night and early morning walks on deck, with the wind that can be chilly. Plus we have found many times in the evenings in the clubs or restaurants it can be chilly on the arms so I take a sweater for inside

As hot as our summer is this year I am hoping for some 70 degree days on this cruise!!

We're from snowy Canada so from the time we arrived in Orlando until the time we got back on the plane we were in shorts/flip flops, some mornings we wore hoodies (especially debarkation) but we found it comfortable in shorts

We have two girls who will be 13 and 16 for this cruise. This is our second cruise and they loved meeting new kids on the first one.

Thanks so much for this Kathy. This is something I have been wondering too. However, like Cheerio, being from Canada we will probably find it to be warmer than you. Good to be prepared though.
Also wondering because we will be in WDW a week before the cruise what kind of weather to expect there in February.

February here in Florida can be cold or nice. Its crazy. One year its in the 50's for highs and lows in the 30's, the next year it was in the med 70's. For that you'll have to wait and see about a week before you arrive by then their forecast will be pretty accurate. If I were to guess I would say low 70's for highs and 50' for lows.

I think we have about 28 or 29 cabins that have joined so far. Now I don't know if she will divide the list or we could have more people join us still.
If you go to the FB page you can click on the link that for a list of cruisers and its marked who is doing the FE.

If I were you I would start with maybe 15 or 20 in case the list is divided. You'll probably have to do more later but you will have the bulk of it done.

We are on this cruise too. There are 13 of us going this time including 6 kids ages 13,10,10,6,6,6. We have been to WDW tons, Disneyland once and on the Magic once. I'm not interested in the FE but am looking forward to meeting other families on this cruise!
