Getting on for the first time since we have been back. The suitcases are unpacked and the laundry is done. Took a three hour nap and now we are deciding on dinner. I suppose we need to make it ourselves or...God forbid...pay for something. I love getting up from dinner with no bill. Trying to re-acclimate!

It was great meeting you all. Thanks for making our cruise even better!

Hi VV's -

I was so Gosh awful sad last night knowing it was my last night onboard and also knowing we weren't booking for next year

I was so glad to have met so many of our fellow VV's and disappointed that my path didn't cross with others. Next cruise, right!?

We made it to my parents' place safely around 11 am today in Daytona. Have not unpacked yet...not sure if we will, we may just live out of the cases for the week.

The kids have been in the community pool. My parents have doted over them for a while. We just finished watching the couple of hours of video Jerry (DH) took.

He and the kids are already alseep. Earliest night since we left CT.

I hope everyone checks in and let's us know you're all safe!

Whose planning on writing a trip report? I'm hoping to, If I do I'll make a link. I'll also try to get my pix on facebook or photobucket. I'm on my dad's laptop so I don't expect to get much done until I'm home.

Tomorrow we head to Hoop Dee Doo. Love that show.

Hi guys, I'm so sad to be home, my dd7 hasn't stopped crying since Friday night, I swear people at the airports yesterday must have thought I was beating her or something!! And she actually woke up this moring crying again...it's going to be a long week I think. I now need to unpack, ughh..

It was great meeting everyone, funny how I kept seeing the same people over and over and others only like once or twice. It's always amazing to me to see all the people at Castaway, it's like where has everyone been? You hardly see that many people on board.

Off to make coffee, Im going to need it! Talk soon

Thanks all for adding to the cruise magic! Seeing friendly smiling faces around the boat, little gifts left in a bag. It added ALOT to our week. I can't really emphasize this except to say, DS9 would RUN to the bag everytime we came back to the room to check it. As I passed things out many people asked "How do you get involved in this?" and I told them about the disboards.

My DS9 cried ALOT yesterday but he was very happy to see HOME when we finally got here at 8:30 last night.

I had a ball and this group really added to it. I wish I'd had the foresight like Dee to write notes to all of you... Dee, I appreciate it! I appreciate all the little things and hope you all are well and that your Disney Dreams come true.

I SWEAR everytime I heard those 7 notes, I got tears in my eyes. Disney is really magical and I still don't know how they can get through my cynicism but they do.

Thank you all again and this will be me for the rest of today (load two is almost done)

Hi guys! I'm finally jumping online after returning yesterday. We were back at the hotel and in our vehicle at 8:30 am. And pulled into the drive at home in good old Virginny at 7:30 on the dot.

We had a wonderful time and I cried as we watched the ship disappear from view yesterday. And then the whole way home I thought about the new people boarding and what they would be doing at various times. Sigh....

I enjoyed seeing familiar faces everywhere on board. Like Michelle mentioned I felt like I saw a lot of the same faces quite often but rarely saw some others. However I kept feeling like I needed to say my name, like, remember me?

I am going to catch up on emails and FB and other online stuff. I have some posting jobs I have to work on as well. So for now I will say goodbye but I wanted to say a quick thanks for everything. My kids really enojoyed all of the goodies. We had a blast sneaking around and putting ours out. And "almost" got caught a few times. Pam, your sons scared us to death as they opened the door and we stood there like we weren't doing anything. I don't think they even noticed us! lol

They are on deck 8. The ones midship and the Roy and Walt suites.

Cats 1 , 2 , and 3 are concierge.

The cat 2s are forward and there are more cat 3s scattered on deck 8.


We are still at the Poly now (Hawaii building) and we are plannong on flying out tomorrow.

Hi Everyone!

We just got home last night, and the post-Mickey depression is hitting hard! It was so nice to be able to meet so many of you. I wish I could have spent more time getting to know more of you. We had so much fun on the cruise. Thank you to everyone who participated in the fish exchange - DS4 loved to get fish mail!

Did anyone else rebook? I just called DVC Member Services this morning and booked us for the 1/30/10 Eastern. We are also planning to do the $99 deal, hoping for November.

I've been like a maniac doing laundry because we are leaving on Thursday morning to spend a week in Louisiana with family for Mardi Gras. February has been a crazy month for us!

Hope to cruise with some of you again!!

We didn't re-book yet. I am going to do the $99 deal and the cruise we got for adding on to DVC, but not sure when yet. I want to wait for the new ship to do another long one I love the Magic, but I am excited about the new ones too This is in NO way complaining (because I'm one of those strange people who likes the motion of the ships), but I am hoping they have better stabilizers A couple nights were a little too rough at dinner time for my DS6 and, although he never got physically sick, I think he'd do better with a smoother ride. I'm figuring another 7-nighter in 2011 or 2012, but the 3-nighters and a DW vacation will hold me over til then

Speaking of the 3-nighters... Is anyone looking at the November 12-15 for the re-booking? Our DS6's b-day is on the 14th and I'm thinking about that for our bounceback if it's an option...

I'm back at work and feeling quite sad that my wonderful vacation is really over. DD9 had a hard time leaving for school this AM and I was sad to let her go as I've enjoyed having so much great time with her the past 10 days. (DH too!)

I just wanted to say a HUGE THANKS to the members of the VV who went so far above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable for all. The signs, the meet, the awesome fish extender gifts. My family wasn't even participating in the fish extender thing, but several of you left stuff by our door anyway (cd's, beach toys, pencils). That was super sweet of you and really was a nice treat for us.

We had a great time last week. Paxton got to be a contestant in both "Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer?" and "Mickey Mania". Roger was up on stage with Jeff Civillico at the family show and it was seriously one of the funniest things ever. We swam with the sting rays, got a little sun with no one getting sunburned and ate dessert with almost every meal. We enjoyed meeting a couple of VV families and tended to run into the same people almost everywhere we went.

We got info about the Europe cruises but that seems unlikely. We did put down dummy reservation for a future cruise so we will get the discount and the on board credit if/when we go again. Maybe we'll do the eastern in a year or two. Nice to see that Disney encouraging the dummy reservations so you don't have to put down as big of a deposit if you're not sure when you want to sail again.

I hope everyone else had a good time and safe travels home (or are still having a good time for those of you who got to continue vacation after we got off the ship!).

We had the best time ever and it was made better by all of you!

We are booked for another 7 day on 11/27 Western but plan to push it out to 2/6/10 or whatever date is close around then.

We are planning to do the $99 bounceback on 11/22 and then come home on 11/25 or extend more time thru Thanksgiving. I already checked flights and we have excellent flight options for those dates (11/22 and 11/25 or 11/28 return). I just wish I knew if the 11/22 sail date was one that will be included. If I knew that now I'd book my flights today!

Good to hear from you all. I know I overpacked on this trip and will be a much lighter cruiser next time.

oooohhh....I can now change my profile to include one cruise....yeah!

Hello Everyone, back to work. It is raining in Nor Cal finally and has been quite a bit, I would love it to be warm and sunny like the cruise but we need the water.

Anyway, I was so wonderful to have met all of you. So many made it to our first meet, was very special. I loved seeing the kids enjoying all the games. Thanks Dee for that. We kind of were a bit split between deck 3 and 4, but I think most make it back down to three.

Group Picture. Not sure who got those shots, but it would be great to get one from you, you can either post her or send via my email. I would love one.

We really enjoyed the cruise. I found myself smiling all the time even when I was just walking around deck. I sure could feel the Disney magic all over.

But I will tell you when I most noticed it. when I got off and was in the airport. It was missing. Man some of those people need to take a Disney cruise, they were sad folks.

Well, it was a long journey home. my flights went very well. But my DD Monica's well she left after me by an hour. She missed the connecting flight, because the plane was just sitting out on the tarmac(sp) she and two others had 13 mins to get from one end of the airport to the other. No way they ran all the way. They didn't wait at all... They were going to make them wait until the next morning to leave. Well the other two gentalmen that were going to Sacramento also said uh no way, They got them out to San Francisco, which is 2 hours away(90miles), the gentlemen offered to drive her to Sacramento as they were getting a rental car. Luckly I was on the ground around the same time as she was as I had to have her be a little pushy to get back to her 1st class seat without them charging her for them. So she got home our time 3 hours behind at 2:30am, that would be like 5:30am. We were very tired. That was a very long day.

We booked a dummy date also, but not sure when we will go. I'm hoping that they will have the new ships out by the time I have to decided. Out dummy date is Dec 2010.

But we might to the bounce back to that will have to hold us until the new ship.

But everyone, thank you so much for making my cruise so very special. Take care and I'll see ya all of FB....
