February 6th- Are there REALLY no values left?

I was trying to book a room at ANY of the values for February 6th because we will be in the area, and it says that there is no availability... Being that we are literally checking in around 6pm and checking out the next day, I wasn't looking for anything more than a value! I looked, and the only thing going on that evening is the Villains event in DHS, but surely this event has not filled every value resort room. Has this ever happened to anyone where online was showing no availability, but if they went about it through a different booking option (i.e., calling or a travel agency) then they were able to find a room? OR is there something else going on that weekend that I have missed?

Any thoughts would be helpful! I have to be down in Tampa for a conference and I just wanted a little Disney on the way home! XD

The National High School Cheerleading Championship is that weekend. They all stay in the Values.

So I well believe the Values are booked solid, yes. Trying to find a room through Orbitz is probably an option, but it depends on how magical you feel a resort full of cheerleaders is.

If you're not concerned with having extra magic hours why not stay at one of the hotels over by disney springs on Resort Blvd or whatever they call that road now. Also sometimes you can get some fantastic rooms at Bonnet Creek Resort and it's super close especially is you're driving you don't have to worry about using their transportation. I stayed there the first weekend of Feb last year and paid like $150 a night.

Oh goodness! Thank you! I'll definitely check out Orbitz, though I did see Bonnet Creek come up on a few different sites! Thanks for all the help! I don't really mind the cheerleaders- we're just going for a late night at MK, so the noise won't be a problem!

Don't know that it's ever been called any other than Hotel Plaza Boulevard, at least in the last fifteen years.

We were able to get a room on Expedia once when Disney didn't have any.

I'm a late nighter and I tried ordering tickets at All Star Movies at about 3am for an August trip and all rooms were reportedly unavailable. I played around and noticed every resort was coming up as no rooms being available no matter what date I put in. So I went to bed, woke up and the rooms were suddenly available again. I chalked it up to the website being updated and whatnot. So I can't say for sure if this is what you're currently going through but I would check again soon as possible to see if rooms are suddenly available again. And if they arent, then my guess is that they really are fully booked.
