February 4-11 or 11-18 crowds.....?

Hi I'm reading a lot of conflicting information. We had planned a trip Feb 4-11 but something may have come up. Do you think the next week (11-18) would be the same in terms of crowds? We'd be leaving the 18 which is the Saturday of Presidents day weekend.

We will spend 4 days at MK and one each at HS and EP.

We were there the week before Presidents' Day. It was slow in the beginning of the week but definitely got busier toward the weekend. We also were there at the same time as a huge cheerleading competition. Some of the parks were mobbed but with fast passes and ADR's it was manageable. The cooler weather made the crowds seem less of a problem. Nothing worse than crowds and terrible heat. We loved going in February. Got a ton accomplished in the parks in a relatively short period of time.

I think you would be fine with either week! In 2011, we went 2/10-2/17 (President's day was 2/21) and then in 2014 we went 2/5-2/16 (President's Day was 2/17). Both trips were amazing! Weather was awesome, crowds were low. In 2014, the crowds definitely started picking up 2/14 and 2/15 but we didn't mind seeing as it was the end of our trip and those were bonus days anyway. We were originally suppose to fly home on 2/14 but because of a big snow storm, we ended up extending until 2/16. If you're leaving on that Saturday, I don't think you'd have any problem! Just check the crowd calendars to see which parks are recommended and you'll be golden! hope you have a wonderful trip!

You should be fine we used to always go the week before Presidents day and never had a problem except one year Fat Tuesday fell in that week and we did notice heavier crowds that time but it is later in Feb this year. Feb is an awesome time to go just make sure to pack a little bit of everything clothes wise.

Hi! Interestingly enough, my husband and I are going the week of the 11-18.

In 2013, we went also the week before President's Day, and I will say that the Friday we had at MK right before PD weekend, yes, crowds were pretty large. However, it really was the only day that we noticed an uptick. But for the days earlier in the week, we did everything we wanted to do in the parks. We did three days at MK, so it certainly enabled us to get multiple rides. I remember that we were able to walk on Pirates, Haunted Mansion, the Little Mermaid. Even without FP, we were able to get on Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain in 30 minutes. Of course, we did rope drop every morning, and so a lot was accomplished then, especially at MK. For parades and fireworks early in the week, we could find great spots even 15 minutes before show time. By Friday, though, it was a good hour wait for Wishes if you wanted a prime spot.

So will the week of 4-11 have lighter crowds than the 11-18. Yeah, I'm sure, but the 11-18 will still be very manageable for you.

Thanks everyone! We have decided to go the 10-17 to avoid the Friday and travelling on a long weekend
