I've been reading the posts today about the Texas folks not being able to get to the port on time because of the ICE STORM in Texas. Hope DCL has concessions for the folks that miss the ship.
When you are travelling in the winter give your self plenty of time to get to Florida. We decided to go to WDW 5 days prior to sailing so we don't have travel problems and it gives me a change to go to the parks. DH can't walk long distances so I am renting him a scooter.

That worries me! We are driving down from Ohio and with stops would probably be 20ish hours. We are planning on leaving Saturday morning to make sure we can make it there by sometime Sunday. We'll be staying in a hotel Sunday night. Winter is so questionable that it's hard to know how to plan for driving A few years ago, in December, we flew to Arizona and were driving from AZ back to Ohio... I was excited because I thought it would be warmer there... HA, was I wrong! We had to stop in New Mexico because of a snowstorm that shut the highways down and then drove through an iced-over Texas the next day... When we got back to Ohio it was WAY warmer.

Hopefully we won't run into any crazy storms in Feb. Maybe I should check the Farmer's Almanac!

Have you joined our group on Facebook yet? All of the FE info is located there. You might be able to get in on the latecomer group.

Ok everyone... The time has come.. I have volunteered to organize the FE list and I am ready to get started! (thanks to Keli for sharing her spreadsheet from her last trip!) This is my first cruise and obviously my first time organizing the FE, so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to share! I suppose for the time being I will collect everyone's information and we will plan on one group, but if the group gets too big, I will break it down into smaller groups.. If you would like to participate you may either reply to the post or e-mail your information to dreabean13 @ gmail.com with "FISH EXTENDER" in the subject line. If you e-mail, please let me know-sometimes they go to the "spam" folder and I don't see them!

My 6yo DS is very shy, worried about him chickening out on Oceaneer Lab... I know he will absolutely LOVE it but he'll be timid to stay on alone. Hope he can meet some friends!
