I'm excited because I'm finally able to get DSL at home!!!! Just got it hooked up about two hours ago. Now I can download some Disney podcasts to listen to on the cruise, and see the threads with all the pictures, etc. etc. etc.

Johnna, what a great idea!!! DD is very musical and loves singing and listening to music, but is not so much into Disney songs; she is more into the Barbie movies and the Backyardigans. We got her an MP3 player for her birthday and she wanted every Eagles song I had loaded on it. She is absolutely crazy about the Eagles, and we even took her and DS to see them in concert in Toronto this past summer. She must have been the only 6-year-old there, and she sang and danced to EVERY song. We'll have to get her into Family Karaoke

Wow... great news Everyone... seems like good stuff is in the air! It's going to be a very celebratory cruise... LOTS OF COCKTAILS!

We've even packed our in-room blender!

As for music...if DD likes the Eagles you should give her the Doobie Brothers next!

So today is my last weekend to do stuff around my house before we leave on our Feb trips... seems weird that I have to start ironing and packing already for the cruise... it's closer than I though!

Anyone have a fun superbowl party tomorrow? We just go to my ILs. Not much fun but MIL is a good cook. DH and FIL watch the game while us girls chat and entertain my girls. We put a grid on paper with numbers 0-9 across the top and down the side and each fill in our initials on the squares and win money if our square holds the score at the end of each quarter. We are going to give DD4 some money to pick squares this year, I think she willhave a lot of fun with that. I'm baking a football cake today. I'm trying out a new receipe before DDs birthday party. Might make a bean dip too as that seems more Superbowly.

Well as everyone is well aware of I'm sure.. today marks 4 weeks until we set sail!!!! Unless of course you are Marla, Dave or Michael..then it is ONLY 3 weeks!!!!!!!
The Disney Magic set off for its 2 trip to St Croix today, we will have to be waiting/watching AND hoping for BETTER reviews!!!!

WE will be the 3rd group of Disney Cruisers heading to St Croix...and you know what they say...The 3rd time is ALWAYS a charm!!!!!!

I have been having fun checking out the menus over on the main boards...it is making me HUNGRY!!!!!! If you haven't seen it, here is the link...

Dave...how did the packing and ironing go today....would LOVE to send you my ironing LOL!!!!!! I wouldn't need it back for 4 weeks LOL!!!! In fact you could just have it hanging in our stateroom when we board...you could do it the week before we get there, I could have it shipped to your stateroom!!!! LOL!!!!

Hey Brenda! Long post....either you had some free time today or just wishing our cruise would hurry up and get here!

Pretty typical Saturday around here...did some cleaning , finished uninstalling and installing programs on the laptop, downloaded some Disney podcasts , exercised , and went shopping with DD :cheer2. Staying in tonight as DH has a cold. We had great weather again today--ended up about 63 F. Seems like we've been getting about one day a week that is abnormally nice.

Going to friends tomorrow for Super Bowl...I hope the Arizona Cardinals pull off the win even though they did ditch St. Louis MO for warmer climes many years ago. Actually, I'm probably more excited about the commercials.

Well, Brenda...looks like I had some fee time tonight with my long post...of course, not as long as yours...hee hee....naw, I'm just wishing today was our cruise so the packing would be all done. Dave...can I send my ironing with Brenda's?????? Please oh please oh please.....

DH was asking whether I wanted to renew vows on our 3 night bounce back cruise later on the year, or if I wanted a small ceremony at Disney World with some of our friends and my family (they didn't get to be there for the wedding disaster, thank goodness!). It came sooo out of the blue I am still trying to figure out what I want

I really didn't think he would ever do something like that, we have been together for such a long time and he is more of a practical guy, he is a mechanical engineer after all, and I can tell you, most of them are not known for their romantic flights of fancy . So I am sure he'd totally agree with your DH.

I guess I should start looking over my vow renewal options

I think tomorrow we will have some Chinese food and watch the game and movies. I am so glad to be home this weekend, I normally don't get to travel for work, so last week's trip to ATL really tired me out. I need to re-fuel on pixie dust so I can be more creative next week

Dave - like I said on facebook - who cares about the Steelers win? I want to know tomorrow's Powerball numbers!

Staying in tonite for the superbowl - had no other invites until Friday and had already made up our minds to stay in, so we kept to that plan. I picked up pizzas from Costco today, so it's as much of a party as it's going to get.

I did wind up with a new bathing suit on Friday night - wasn't sure I'd like it, but I did. It's so exciting to buy stuff in a smaller size! Almost makes the calorie counting worth it! ALMOST...

I think next weekend I'll start pulling out the kids' stuff and sorting through what still fits and what doesn't. I'm still waiting for my friend to find the pirate costume she is going to lend DD; she's one of those friends who has REALLY great intentions, and would do anything for you, but you're just never sure exactly when that will happen.

And of course, I'll have to load some Bon Jovi and ABBA songs on DD's iPod too. She's got my Jersey Girl roots and LOVES JBJ almost as much as I do; and she's gotten hooked on the songs from the Mamma Mia movie. Of course, when we watch the movie, and she asks why there are three possible dads, I just tell her that there is stuff in the movie she is just not going to understand, even if I did try to explain it.

I also need to get cracking on my door signs!! So much to do... and so little time. Story of my life....

Yeah! I am going to a midnight showing with DH as well I won't dress up either, but we love doing that, overall when peeps go all out, it's people watching at its best.

And they have Simon Pegg as Scotty, love Simon Pegg, I have been a big fan since Shawn of the Dead.

I am also sooo looking forward to the Princess and the Frog.

Way to go Steelers! It was a very exciting game at the end. I am just waiting for the traditional "I am going to Disney World"
