All of us on formal night

My WONDERFUL daughter put these up for me cause I dont know how to work a computer to save my life!

MMMMMMMM Bushwakers. I had one the last time I was up there in ST. Thomas. Did you get the drink with the replica cable car? I did. I thought it was so cool.

Ahhhh.... well that's another matter then... I mean, if you think the Borat suit is cool, just wait til I dig out my Big Gay Disco outfit box? Boys.. do you think the Mama Mia body suits will fit you?

ROFLMAO!!! Only if I'm very, very (very, very...) drunk and it's made of spandex, Dave! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

...so... it's Saturday morning and the UPS guy knocks on our door and hands me an envelope. It turns out to be our Disney Magical Express vouchers and our luggage tags marked "Wilderness Lodge". Needless to say, I hid them from the kids really quick. Too bad we are planning on renting a car at MCO and not taking Mickey's bus. I still may use the luggage tags and let someone else carry our heavy suitcases though...

The weather here has been awesome the last couple of days... just above freezing and sunny. We have a small tobogganing hill at the end of our street and DD and her friends have been making up for all the crappy weather we have had. I literally had to drag her off the hill yesterday to come home and eat. She was asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Dave, I hope you and Michael are feeling better soon. Some things are wonderful to share - feeling like crap with the flu is NOT one of them. Just keep thinking about Castaway Cay.

Brenda, those Bushwhackers look sooooooo good! We are just over a month from heading to FL. This board sure makes the time go by faster.

John

And on the theme of family pics and warm weather, here is the RookieMouse family last summer at a friend's wedding. She and her hubby tied the knot in a mountain meadow overlooking a small lake in the Rockies just outside Canmore, Alberta. What a beautiful setting!!

It was the first wedding that DD had ever been to, and she was on the dance floor until after midnight. :dance3:

Good thing our room was just down the hall.

I love all the pics too! Especially the one of the Bushwacker! AHHHH! It looks so tasty!!

Dave, I hope you and Michael feel better soon! I agree with what John said, just keep thinking about Castaway Cay! We're almost there!
That's what I've been doing to get through my days here. I'm constantly thinking about this cruise and looking at pictures and crap! I'm anxious now!
I asked my husband yesterday if we can pack our suitcases now and then just sit in the airport for the next month and wait for our flight.

He said I was insane. :crazy2:

Well, I was going to post and say "I love all of the pictures!" only Dave and Vanessa beat me to it so I'll just say that everyone's pictures are AWESOME!!!!! :thumbsup2

Dave--sorry to hear that you guys are not feeling well! Hope you're better soon!

John--I don't think you can send your suitcases with ME unless at least one of you checks in at the ME counter and rides the bus too. You might want to check on that beforehand! ::yes::

BUSHWACKERS sure look YUMMY!!!!! Thanks for the pictures, Brenda! :)

Vanessa...I've been thinking about trying on everything I'm thinking about packing just in case I need to do some more shopping. I'd be packing too if things wouldn't get wrinkled!!!!! :rotfl2:

Ha ha! I know!
I'm sooo anxious to leave already!! :hyper:

I already did that! It was such fun! Everything I plan to bring is off to the side in the closet just waiting. I think I will go through it again in a few weeks and see if there is anything else I don't need to pack or need to shop for! I already have a long shopping list so hopefully I won't find I NEED anything else!

Has anyone picked out excursions yet? We are starting the wish list but nothing is definite yet.

St Croix we were looking at Cane Bay but the one review I read of it said there are sea urchins which I'm not sure what that means but it doesn't sound pleasant. So now I'm thinking about Caramoba Resort

St Thomas I'd like to plan nothing. Perhaps go up to paradise point, perhaps not. I'd mostly like to hangout on the ship without everyone else.

Castaway Cay we will very likely rent bikes and then just enjoy the beach.

For St. Croix, I booked the Buck Island snorkel tour thingy cause my hubby loves to snorkel. I heard it's really nice so I think he'd enjoy that.

At Castaway Cay, I'm still debating on whether or not to do the Jet Ski tour. I really wanna do it but not sure if I'll have the energy for it.
But my daughter really wants to feed the Stingrays, so I signed us up for that.

I think what I'd really want to do is just lounge around like a beach bum! Sounds perfect to me!

I love all these pics... so nice!

Too sick to type much more. Someone shoot me.

Are you KIDDING!!!!! You are going to be the life of the PARTY!!!!! we are NOT getting rid of you LOL!!!!!!! and besides who would hang out with Mark at the pool in the signature "Borat and Red Sequined Thong" :goodvibes :goodvibes

and who would Johnna blame when her kids lick the cookies..and who's cabin door would we TP and...........:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Ron and Emily did this once and enjoyed it...Ron would have liked it more if he could have have really cut loose and went, but they keep you all together...but liked it none the less:thumbsup2
Besides I don't think Emily would have let him go much faster anyway LOL!!!!

Uhhhhh Yah!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That really doesn't sound very pleasant!

We too were kinda looking at the Caramoba Resort, looks like it has a great beach area along with restrooms/ restaurants/ transportation and a bar..what more does one need :confused3 LOL!!!!!

They really are YUMMY!!!!!! I guess we didn't see the replica cable car cup:confused3 we just had them in the disposable cups....

Paradise Point is really pretty cool ...we found it very relaxing and the views are amazing!!!! Kaylee loved the sky jump and is looking forward to doing it again, and Emily loved the little shop up there, they carried knock off bags...

And we of course enjoyed the Bushwackers!!!!!!
This was our first Bushwacker....
And you know what they say..."You never forget your FIRST" LOL :lmao: :lmao:

WE are all looking forward to going there again this time around!!!!!

I know but it is such fun to SHOP!!!!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

We have booked the West End Highlights Tour on St. Croix as we want to see some of the island. I really wanted to go horseback riding but was hesitant to make my own plans since its been awhile since cruise ships have been to St. Croix. Sure wouldn't want to go off and then miss the ship.

Since we aren't going horseback riding, we are going to do the Water Island Mountain Bike Adventure at St. Thomas. DH isn't as excited as I am about this one. He thinks cruising is for relaxing.....:rotfl2:

So at Castaway Cay, that is just what we are gonna do--relax on the beach!!!! :beach:

Vanessa--we swam with the stingrays on Grand Cayman and it was unbelievable!!!! They feel so soft and silky. Haven't did it on CC but I'm sure it will be neat!

I was reading that they were handing out free Ruk Punch in St. Croix as you got off the ship on the dock area somewere. If that is the case I have no need but grab 4 or 5 of those and back to the empty ship. Still up in the air about getting off in St. Thomas. Most likely not not getting off at CC

As this is our first cruise, we are doing a few excursions.

In St. Croix, Joanne and I are doing the Salt River kayaking trip in the morning while the kids are in the clubs. In the afternoon we will relax onboard.

In St. Thomas, we are taking the kids on the Atlantis Submarine tour in the morning and maybe strolling to the butterfly farm after lunch.

At CC, I am going parasailing with DS and my nieces and nephews in the morning and going bottom fishing after lunch with my bro and bros-in-law, while DW and my youngest sister do the stingray thing with the younger kids.
