DmMarla, I am sooooo jealous--2 seven night B2B cruises!!!!!! That will be so much fun! My DD, 23, went with us on our first 2 Disney cruises and hates it that she has to work and can't go with us this time. She is a teacher and basketball coach.

My familia and I are gonna be flying in the day before the cruise and are staying at the Hyatt.
I have no idea where it's at but I heard it's close to the airport then we're hoppin on the Disney shuttle the next day to Port Canaveral.

Does anyone know how far the Hyatt is from the port? And has anyone gotten really sea sick? That's the only thing I'm really worried about. I get car sick pretty easily and sometimes resort to hanging my head out the window like a dog.
I was gonna bring a duffle bag full of Dramamine just in case.

OH! And I have one more question, has anyone found that underwater Mickey statue in the snorkeling area at Castaway Cay? I saw that picture in the brochure book and I want to find it

The Hyatt is inside the airport!!!! It is about an hour to the port.

I haven't gotten sick but the seas were really smooth both times we've cruised. I usually don't suffer from motion sickness though. I did bring dramamine with us just in case.

Yes, I've found the Mickey statue. It is very exciting to find it!

I think DH and I are leaning toward arriving on Friday and returning on Monday or Tuesday. We'll rent a car and stay at Cocoa Beach on Friday night. After the cruise, we'll probably use Disney transportation to go back to WDW and stay at BCV. Does anyone know what time the Disney buses get you to WDW after a cruise?

last time we cruised the Magic in florida in August 2006, we were at our hotel after the cruise by 9:30 and we were lucky because they had a room ready, so we got to nap till lunch time and headed to epcot, we had early seating, so we just got off after breakfast.

Bearpele - I had problems with your gmail address - it told me there was a "permanent failure" with this address. Seems like the other one you gave me worked though. I'm taking the gmail one off the list and if you have another you'd like me to send it to, let me know.

The Story's are off to New England tomorrow and heading to Cape Cod Saturday for a week. Apparently the place we are staying is quite rustic - no TV, no phone - much more "rough" than we're used to. It will be interesting... So we're off the board for a week, but will check back in when we return.

It's INSIDE the airport?? I'm gonna have to Google some pictures to see what it looks like!

You gotta show me where to find that Mickey statue! When we get to Castaway Cay, my whole goal in life will be to find it!!

Yes it is inside the airport. Kind of in the middle of the Mears side. It is like it looks over the airport actually. It is very nice.....

We plan to come down Friday night. We never get there until later that evening as the Tink family has a hard time making it anywhere before 10AM. We will either stay at Country Inn or Hawathorn Inn. We have always gotton a good rate at the Hawathorn when talking with management, but last cruise the new manager did not want to give us a deal, so we stayed at Country Inn. Works out great as all we do is dinner and sleep when we get in. We then will head off to MCO to check in about 10AM after breakfast and be on the ship by noon usually.

Unless we decided to join BJs family a little earlier. We are still waiting the airline prices but hear they will come down come fall.

We are still booked on back-to-back cruises (1st being the Feb 21 Western); however, I think we will be cancelling the first one. We just purchased some vacation property, and I have a feeling that the money tree in our backyard may be a little sparse

I thought when they die and place the face on that green paper that they leave the seeds on the lawn. Hi All!!

I'm just sitting here bored at work. It's Monday and I don't feel like doing anything! My boss didn't feel like working either and she was kind enough to bring me an Iced Venti Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks. I'm a happy camper! Gotta have my Starbucks!

ANYWHOO, I decided to read some of the trip reports that other cruisers have posted. I've heard so much about the Drink Of The Day on board the ships.

What is the best one? Or which one is everyone's favorite and can't live without?

It has been fun helping with the wedding plans! I enjoy planning and organizing things too--but I like planning vacations more than weddings!!!

I collect the DCL glasses too! I have a pink one and a blue one but I could always use more!

Welcome! We are from your neck of the woods, only a bit more north (Cold Lake), and will be cruising with my brother and two sisters and their families from New Brunswick and Maine. 14 of us in total

This is also our first cruise as a family (DW did the Alaska thing when she was single), and our kids are wired. DD will be 7 and DS will be 10 at cruise time.

Hey John,
We now live in Airdrie, just 10 miles north of Calgary.
We used to live in Cool Pool!!! DH is retired CAF, retired in 2005 as a Sgt from 441 Sqd. He is now working in the oil and gas industry down south here!.
What an awesome thing to have a family get together on the ship, you all will have such an amazing time and make such wonderful memories!!
My dd will be 4.5 when we sail, I am really hoping she will be confident enough to enjoy the kids club so we can have some adventures of our own on the ship!!
Can't wait!! 6 months 2 weeks and 2 days... and yep you bet I am counting!!
