Hello to all...we also just got off the 3/1/08 eastern cruise, and rebooked for this cruise..our first cruise was a 3 day. Found out that 3 days was nowhere long enough, so we rebooked for a 7 day before we ever got off the ship!!!!

This will be our 3rd 7 day cruise..although we love cruising with DCL, the main reason we booked this particular cruise, was because of Mark and Johnna
We meet them on our first 7 day cruise and had SO much fun with them, that we can't wait to cruise with them again

Kim / Norm and Josh, we are really excited to hear that you decided to book for this date as well ..so yay!!!!! Can't wait to sail with you guys again ...(this will be our 3rd cruise together).
It's bound to be a FUN WEEK!!!!

And then there is Tinkerbellmom...we just got done cruising with her for the first time a few weeks ago
How exciting Tink, to think that we may be cruising together again, next Feb/March!!!!!

For those of you whom we haven't met...

The ejkjmom family consists of myself (Brenda), DH (Ron) and two DD's...ages 14 and 11...although my DH and myself are excited about the thought of going again next year...the girls are even MORE excited, they truly love cruising the Disney Magic and esp love Johnna's little DD

We are REALLY hoping that this date is going to work for us...and are pretty confident that it will, we are just waiting for the school calender to come out, and also waiting to see if Emily gets on the dance team, and if she does, we will have to see what her sechdule will be...her try outs are at the end of the month....

THis year the dance team was finished with everything by the end of Feb...so I think we will be okay !!!

I'm afraid to say...that we aren't really baseball fans (please don't throw us overboard lol!!!), but we do find the friendly rivalry that you all have gong on here, pretty funny!!!!! Ron is more into college football,

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone...and to my already Dis freinds ...we can't wait to set sail with all of you again!!!!

Sounds Like this house, New 42" LCD with Directv,High Def, It does not get any better than that. Being in Ct. we get YESHD on directv and also NESNHD to watch the Sox lose, so there is no need to order extra innings.

WAY too much Yankee, delusional smack talk out there. WHO HAS WON THE WORLD SERIES TWO OUT OF THE LAST FOUR YEARS? You guys are clinging to the "well, the Yankees have won XX of World Series.." Those WS championship flags are getting so old and tattered at Yankee Stadium that you are going to have to call in the guy who takes care of the Shroud of Turin to make sure that they don't disintegrate.

And I'm with the Dodger talk. It is one of the proudest NL teams out there. And now that you have a real manager (Grady "I Don't Know If I Should Take Pedro Out Or Not" Little) is gone, you should be back to where you belong.

And the rest of you? Stop living in the past. It's Red Sox Nation now.

Well mark I can not let you put this to rest just yet. First thanks for backing my Dodgers. I have to tell you though that I do not think the Dodgers will be playing any post season baseball this year. Everyone thinks that the Dodgers are going all the way now that we have Joe Torre as the skipper. Well if you look at his lifetime manager numbers he stinks. I always said he was over rated. Look at his numbers while managing in the N.L., 470 lifetime winning percentage. Only made the playoffs once, and that is when we was in charge of the Braves in the '80s. Overall he has just a 526 lifetime winning percentage. I loved Grady Little and was sad to see him go. At least we ended up over 500 the two years he was there. Joe Torre does not know how to inspire a team to win. This makes me sick to say but the seven years should all have been Yankee titles. I just think he is way over rated. We need Tommy back in the drivers seat. You are right though, all Yankee fans are going to have to live in the past now. There is not another title in their future until they get the minors back up and running and stop buying high priced, overaged players.

if we are talking about baseball, in August 2006 on my double dip cruise, we had a lot of yankee fans on the ship and a yankee game was on in diversions, I was there for the college club social, but was watching the game and there was a really good play, made and diversions got so loud, I remember that two friends i met don't like sports thought everyone was like nuts, see the look on the faces of my friends when I was screaming at the tv was great and is something I still don't forget . So how is everyone doing?

Johnna I am shocked to hear this from a baseball fan. Spring training will be in full force and ESPN will be showing some games. We can get into some great arguments. Like your team is the best money can buy and so forth, oh wait that is the Red Sox now. They are the best that money can by as their 2 titles in 4 years shows us. On the other hand the Rockies are the best team that talent can buy, and I am not a Rockie fan.

Ok. So we have this little group where we talk about baseball and stuff like that. I think that we need to turn it into a brainwashing group so that we convince Ron, Brenda, Emily, Kaylee, Norm, Kim and Josh to join us FOR SURE.

What in it for them: continued coolness by hanging with the best Dis Cruisers out there.

Whats it it for us: bonding, re-bonding (Ron: NOTE: I did not say "bondage") and $1,000 liquor tab while on board. And plenty of hazy memories.

What's in it for all of us: the time of our lives.

So I have boiled the of all names of those whom we want to attend into one little acronym: RNEKNKJ: you need to go...you need to go...you need to go...you need to go...

I would encourage everyone on this board to do the same: since it's NCAA season, let's call it the "full court press." Adding it to your signature line would do nicely as well.
