Hi Everybody! I'm so glad that all of you have joined this thread! I haven't been on this forum for awhile as I've been busy doing all of the year-end tax stuff for our farming operation.

I agree that winter has gone on way too long (but I say that every year)! This year has been better than last year as then we had 2-3 inches of ice that lasted 6-8 weeks before it finally melted. The past three weeks though we have had some snow each week with more forecast for tomorrow. At least it has melted in between times.

We couldn't wait till our cruise in '09 for our Disney fix. DH and I are heading to the Beach Club Villas/WDW on March 2nd!!! We also have trips to WDW planned for end of May and beginning of October. Thank goodness we are DVC members!!!!!

hey glad more people have joined, I haven't been on the disboards as much, because I keep up with basketball more during the winter. Anyone else like watching basketball? my favorite team is the Nets, the the whole Jason Kidd was driving me crazy, so glad that is finally over, it was on and off and on and off for the 5 days if was so pain full the hear about, if you know me and the Nets, you'd know why. I'm going to disney world march 12th and it should be awesome

I am a Wizards fan first and a Celtics fan second, although I still like college basketball better (baseketball without the millionaires).

I'm a graduate of the University of Maryland (Go Terps!), but also teach part time at Georgetown, so I am following them closely this year as well.

Last year, my DUncle and I watched several March Madness games on board the Magic. Year before that, it was the Super Bowl on Deck 11.

Good times, those.

And as a side note, we are planning a little celebration on February 29th - a little "Year Until" party. We'll put on ugly, Hawaiian shirts and watch cruise videos from past years. Just getting under the year mark will feel good.

Gotta stay loyal to my state!!! DH & DS8 have gone to 3 games this season, myself and DD5 have gone once. It is about a 2 1/2 drive to Detroit for us. DD5 mostly likes the cheerleaders!!

your a Celtics fan second lol, that's one team I don't like and will never like. After 2002 or 2003 playoff's I can't remember what year the fans got me to dislike the team. Wizards are ok though, I'd root for them if they made to to the finals.

so your a Pistons fan, I don't like the team much, but I can stand them if make it to the Finals, I am hoping they play Boston and beat them in playoff's unless the Nets start doing amazing.

I like sports! I'm more of a hometown, home state fan too. I like basketball and football better than baseball. We follow the Missouri Tigers and sometimes the KC Chiefs. Haven't watched baseball since the strike many years ago.

DD participated in lots of sports growing up and is now coaching girls basketball so we go to watch most of her team's games.

I enjoy running and ran my first half-marathon a year ago. I hope to do the WDW marathon or half-marathon some day.
