Hello everyone...well, today is our flight day across county and the boys were supposed to go to school until 10:00 am to turn in any homework they needed to. Woke up and turned on the news and found out there is a 2 hour delay due to snow ...so needless to say no school for the boys today. About 1/2 hour later, school is cancelled. Now, normally that is not a big deal here, however, we have a flight at 12:30...what is that going to do to our flight?? As of right now it is only 18 minutes delayed, but I am very worried it will be longer and we'll miss our connection in Newark. At least we have an exra day for traveling if we need it, but I hate starting our vacation out like this! I just hope the snow lets up and we are able to get out of here. I hope everyone else has hassle free traveling! See you soon.

I haven't logged in since January 9th. Ugh. Life's just so busy. By now you've all probably forgotten who I am. I am Kirsten and I'll be traveling with my husband Mark and our twin girls (six years old). This is our first cruise and we aren't really Disney people (shh, that's a secret). The girls love Disney movies, but I haven't focused on the product much and they have never been to DL or WDW. However, when looking into the idea of a cruise, it quickly became obvious that DCL was the best fit for us, so here we go

We fly into LAX on Saturday and are staying by the port that night. We are so excited . We aren't doing the FE and I'm not positive we can make the 2:30 meet (we are hoping to do the tour since it's our first time on a boat), but I do hope to see you all around!

cant wait to meet everyone... and lay out in the sun!! everyone has been so nice on here thank you!!

We are doing the ship tour, too, so maybe we will meet you there! I STILL haven't started packing - but I am taking the entire day today to clean my house and pack. We leave for LA tomorrow morning bright and early!

I haven't started packing. I'll do that tonight.

Now I'm really tempted to come to the meet! My girls are six and will want to meet your daughter. But we've never been on the boat and I keep thinking we should really do the tour.

I was so depressed to get off the ship....the only thing that makes me feel better is that we booked another one...the count down is on.

We had an amazing time! We couldn't have dreamed of a better experience as first time cruisers. My DS11 cried at the last dinner (flags) and my DS9 was so upset in the morning he was getting anxiety. My hubby and I were getting emotional at the 'Til We Meet Again show. We LOOOOOVED it and it definitely eased the hurt to book the next one--Dream (Bahamas) which we want to change to Sept 2012 booking which isn't out yet...

We're also going to keep an eye out for any other KSF specials.

I just backed up 1500+ pics and hours of video... Now, I realize how difficult making those trip reports are! Can't wait to see trip reports!

It was great to sail with you all!

Can you believe we're back? I'm still in autopilot mode ... doing laundry. I haven't been able to 'relax'. We drove home to Utah, took us about 11 hours with stops. Bleh.

I was sorry not to get to meet anyone... we were so overwhelmed our first day we totally missed the ship tour and the meet!

Our drive home to Vegas was pretty depressing too... now home to an empty refrigerator which I haven't filled yet... boo... spent the extra day off doing laundry (or my hubby is since I am now banned after shrinking two of his favorite shirts) and backing up our pics...

oh well, let the next countdown begin
