Hi! We are also cruising on 2/27. It is our second cruise with Disney, the first being a 4 day cruise almost two years ago. I have many questions! Primarily about selecting shore excursions and other tips and tricks. Where would you suggest I post those questions? The fish extender exchange sounds fun! I need to learn more about it. Thanks - we're looking forward to this greatly!

You are going to love the 7-day cruise !! Feel free to ask questions here or ask them on the main DCL DisBoard. For specific ques about ports go to cruisecritic.com and go to ports/ Caribbean / St Thomas. Also, you can do a search on these boards for a certain topic,ie, Fish Extender.

Come join our Fish Extender. We have 12 staterooms participating. Everyone buys small gifts or homemade gifts. Then on the ship we have a secret exchange. Hang up your FE next to your door and wait for the goodies to arrive ! You can make your FE or if you plan to sail again on DCL you might want to purchase a personalized FE on ebay. I got the cutest one for $30.

Who all will be in your stateroom ? I will add you to our DisGroup and if you decide to do the FE ,I'll add you to that as well.

Hi! We don't have our stateroom assignment yet, but we're supposed to be on deck 5 or 6. There are three in our Mom, Dad and 8 year old son, hailing from Bend, OR. I'll check in with the family on participating in the FE after Christmas, but we'd certainly enjoy the opportunity to connect with other DIS cruisers. We'll be going to WDW for 5 days before the cruise. Thanks for the organization!

Anyone have concerns about putting first and last names on FE in hallways? Worries about people walking up to your kids and knowing their name?

Hi, Just wanted to add on to the list. We are from Alaska, we have 2 boys, a 10 yr. old and a 6 yr. old. We are in booked for a GTY Cat. 10, so haven't recieved our cabin # yet ~and I'm still thinking about doing the Fish Extenders, ...but I can't make any promises I have a few questions about it...Like how do you know how many to bring? Can you just pass them out on one night? I can see my dh rolling his eyes now... Anyway....we can't wait for this vacation!!

Yes, you can pass them out one night...really, anytime you want.
Feb 7 is the cut-off to sign up for the FE exchange. So that day I'll be able to tell everyone how many FE participants we have. Right now ,we have 11 cabins,which includes 19 adults, 8 children ( 4 boys,4 girls )

I couldn't help but laugh at your "rolling eyes" comment. I have one of those husbands too. But after being married 34 years he's mellowing.

If anyone is wanting a cute FE, go to ebay .I got one that the lady personalized. I even got to select my fabric colors.

Leaving for Vermont early tomorrow to spend Christmas with my oldest son's family. I'm so thankful I get to spend the holidays with 3 of my Grandchildren !!

We have a new Grandson !! William (Liam) Scott McGrory was born Dec 20 !! Everybody's doing fine even though Liam came 3 wks early ! Guess he didn't want to miss Christmas !
