I just came back from the Eastern and rebooked on board, it was a terrific cruise and I am ready to go.
We had quite a few people from the DIS going, and it was terrific to get to meet them.
Anyone else going on those dates??

Boy, I am going to be so lonely on that big ship, I guess I will not have to worry about not having a lounge chair at the pool, and an upgrade should be a cinch...

Christinou,

My family & I will be on the 02/26/05 cruise with you. I started a thread with this date about a month ago & only 1 family replied. We can hang out pool side together

:cool1:

We will be celebrating hubbies 40th birthday (although he doesn't know about the trip yet). I'm going to give him all the info either at Christmas or Valentines Day. I booked the trip when the 2005 dates were first released & it's so nice to see the countdown clock at less than 1 year!

Do you have any kids? We have DD princess: who will be 5 at time of cruise and a DS pirate: who will have just turned 2.

Hope to read from you soon!

Tracey

I am sorry, I never saw your first thread, I would have happily responded to yours. We have 2 girls that will be 7 and 9 for the cruise next year. We just came back from the eastern and are looking forward to the western.
What a great present for your DH 40 birthday, wow, my hubby celebrated last November, and his present was scuba divind in St. martin and St. Thomas.
I am looking forward to counting the days with you.....

Christine,

Hubby & I are both certified scuba divers but I am uncomfortable with leaving kids on the ship while we go off diving. Maybe our hubbies can get together for a dive on Western cruise?

Tracey

Tracey, my husband is planning to dive in both Cozumel and Grand Cayman, I will just sign him up for one of the disney excursions (which is what he did on the Easter), I am sure that he would love having a diving buddy. I am not certified, and plan on getting my certification, but feel the same way that you do, I will not leave the girls alone on board.....
We are going to get 12" of snow today, and that cruise is looking good.....

Hi everyone!! My fiance and I will be cruising with you! We will be on our honeymoon! Yippee! We are sooo excited. I was on the Jan 10, 2004 7nt Eastern and LOVED it! It will be his first time on the Magic.
It is snowing here in NY as we speak.......

Congratulations on your wedding, what a great honeymoon.....

We received a light dusting of snow here overnight. Just enough to make me wake up and go "Ugh---I can't wait for that Disney Cruise". Although, I have to mumble this to myself since hubby is clueless on the cruise!;)

I read another thread where people were raving about the Romantic Escape at Sea package & how it is so worth the $299.00. I would love it but I also wanted to treat hubby to a scuba diving excursion in Cozumel for his b-day. I may have to choose one or the other :(

Tracey

HI ALL,
OUR FAMILY JUST RETURNED FROM THE MARCH 6TH EASTERN AND BOOKED THE FEB. 26 2005 WESTERN AS WELL.
I AM GLAD TO HAVE FOUND THIS THREAD.
MY ONLY WORRY IS THAT THE WATER IS GOING TO BE COLD:scared1:
HAS ANYONE TRAVELED TO ANY OF THESE PORTS BEFORE MARCH?

Yeah, we starting to have a group going, I have 2 girls who will be 7 and 9 at the tine of the cruise, I know Tracy also has children, and we have 1 couple on a honeymoon, I am assuming no kids yet. Any other kids coming???
I am not sure about the water, we were on the Eastern on the 21 of February this year, and I thought that the water in St. Marin was really warm, I would expect it even warmer on the Western....

This cruise is a surprise for hubbies 40th birthday & he almost busted me:eek: My MIL & FIL have decided to join us so I sent in a price quote request to Dreams Unlimited. Wouldn't you know it, my hubby read the e-mail asking if I would like to book the room! I totally lied (and I am a BAD liar!) and told him his mom & dad were thinking of taking his sister & kids on cruise & that I was doing some price shopping for them. His sister has had a very rough year so I THINK  he bought the story. Now I know it's going to be very hard keeping this secret until Christmas (when I plan on giving him cruise docs)! Everyone wish me luck & pray that God doesn't strike me with lightning for lying.

:goodvibes

Tracey

Tracey, that was a close call, do you really think that you can keep it a secret until Christmas. I kept it from my kids, but not my husband, I constantly have to talk about it.....

I'm REALLY going to try keeping this a secret from hubby until Christmas. It's going to be hard, especially now that his mom & dad are joining us. I've kept it a secret since I booked which was back in October but, as I said before, I am a bad liar!

Tracey

I need to keep a few secrets for this trip, I am thinking of ordering the Romance at Sea Package and surprising my husband with it, I would bet that he would love a massage, I know I would....
Now I need to find something to surprise my girls, maybe a gift basket in the room.

We will be there - wife and me, and kids 8 and 5 - can't wait - this will be DCL #3 - booked it while on board 4 day Wonder in early March '04.

That is great, that will also be our third cruise.
I am ready to go now, it was 20 this morning, brrrrr.....

2xcruiser,

We will be on the cruise with you & have a 5YO princess: who will be with us. We also have a son who will be 2 at time of cruise. Is your 5YO a girl or boy? I'm hoping my princess: will enjoy the clubs a lot more this time than the last cruise when she was 3. Mom & Dad need some ALONE TIME ;)

Tracey

5 yo is a boy. First cruise the oldest was 3, youngest was a baby. The 3yo did not like the clubs then, but both loved them on our last cruise (they were 4 and 7).

Where will you be on the ship - we are on deck 6, mid ship (don't remember the room number.)
