February 25th Magic Cruise Board

We have done this cruise before but it was our FIRST ever cruise, and i was a bit timid about doing things on our own and had 2 younger children with us. So we just did tours of the islands.

Not that this is a bad thing to do...just a little boring after a while.

But great pictures.

I have been wanting to go to that airport beach where the planes fly over really low for ages so we are going to hit that up this time

Thanks for the info. This will be our second Disney cruise. Last year we did the western and loved it. Am interested in what excursions/ beaches people are planning or have done before

It's our second Disney cruise, too! We did the Western this past January and loved it. We were planning to repeat it in 2012 but recently decided to switch. The only excursion we've booked so far is with Bernard's Tours in St. Maarten. I read about him here on the boards, and since other Dis members gave me good advice on excursions last time, I'm trusting it to be great!

At st. john there is a ride up the mountain..its cool for the ride, but what you get at the top isnt top notch shopping but yeah the ride is cool.

I think we will be happy to find nice beaches, snorkeling, drinks and food,not necessarily in that order....

But do you have to tender to get into port? I am anti-tender, when there is a five year-old involved.

I love this! So cute and original. Maybe once we decide on the name, we could get one of the DISigners to make us a cute graphic that we could use for door magnets? It would be fun to have them on our doors, and it would help FE people easily identify cabins.

Let's put it to a vote...What does everyone think???

Wow the stuff you miss when you are away from the Dis for awhile! Dizzi and threewilmingtonwalls you guys are hilarious! Just mental picturing the typing while on the treadmill i can't even text and walk a straight line most days!
I am all for the 'Sailing to the Saints' ......or the title that was along those lines cause can't remember as I actually type my post. Thank goodness it is hump day and the weekend is just around the corner!
I was reading trip reports last night as part of my trip planning and swear all I dreamt about was the food! Gonna have to get on top of that Disney Diet soon, especially since Christmas and New Years fall beforehand ...... I love my food and drink!
For those that have done the tastings before, which would you rate as the most and the least enjoyable ( and/or worth the $)?

i have only done the wine tasting, and i would imagien if you like wine it would have been good.

i loved the champagne that was at the end and only one other wine tat they served but it was really good amount of each wine and it wa informative.

it is going to be so hard to keep my weight off, during the holiday..... and i get so bored on the treadmill that i do so much better if i am envolved in the computer i walked almost 2miles last night and didnt even realize it.
