Omg! Only 5 days until we fly out and I am not nearly ready! Every time I try to cross something off my list I get a call from a client asking for just one more thing before I go .... Don't they all know I need to be packing?!
Finished our FE this past weekend and just need to gather everything up and make sure I have everyone covered.
Can't wait! Can't wait! Can't wait! Can you tell the excitement is starting to overtake? All supper discussions have centred around Disney for the past couple days. This wknd is probably going to be the longest EVER!

Thanks so much for the information. We will enjoy participating in the Fish Extenders, even without getting a lot. The kids will love to find rooms and put stuff in for other folks. We are happy to be able to participate!

For people who have been on a disney cruise before, any advice on what to pack, bring or do on this trip? This is our first time and our kids don't know we're going (one strongly suspects though!). We're planning a treasure hunt to lead them from the house to the car, car to the airport, airport to florida, etc. Should be fun!

So, the countdown begins! Next Friday, we will be on our way to Florida!

Oh - one last question. We will be coming in Friday night, but are taking the Disney bus to the boat on Saturday. Will our luggage still be taken directly to the boat, or do we need to pick it up at baggage claim in Floriday Friday night, since we're arriving the day before? Any help would be great. I will be calling Disney before we leave to be sure.

So - from Saratoga Springs, NY to the Saratoga Deck on the Disney Magic! Here we come!!!!!

I guess i could be incredibly wrong and i am too tired to look it up.

Since this is our first time onboard, I don't want to wander around looking for this group on Saturday. Could someone who has been on this ship verify the name of the lounge we will be looking for on Sat at 3pm?

Can't wait! Started trying on outfits today. I have NO idea what I will be wearing on Saturday. I will be the tired Mom with my husband and two energetic girls, a blond age 7 and a redhead age 5

We have 4 people and just booked with Capt Mike on the Fury in St Thomas 2/29. We looked at all the trip advisor reviews and this one looked great. When we booked yesterday Capt Mike informed us that he has a special price of 70 pp. They pick you up at the dock, so no Cab ride needed. Capt Mike stated that we were the first to book the morning trip, so I just wanted to let people know there was still room. Check out the reviews for yourselves. Hope to see some of you on the cruise. SR

Two pieces of advice, both of which are elsewhere on the DISBoards, but I think are worth repeating:

1. Bring an over-the-door shoe rack, the kind with 10 or 12 pockets that hold pairs of shoes. Hang it from the bathroom door and keep all your little things in the pockets: sunglasses, Key-To-The-World card, pens, highlighters, Navigator (the daily schedule on-board), dollar bills for room service tips, etc. That way your desk doesn't get all cluttered up with stuff, and you have everything you need right by the door when you leave your cabin.

2. Order chocolate chip cookies and milk from room service as often as possible.

i too have always been gung ho about the clear shoe holder i take one everytime....

But i wasnt planning on taking one this time
simply because i have my screwed to the wall now and would have to purchase a new one.

i figured with just me and DH we wouldnt need one since we have so much less stuff with no kids

BUt it is just you and the DW and u still use one??alot??

After weeks of contemplating, I started packing today! This is a surprise for our kids, so I haven't been able to pack in plain sight. Makes it tough! So, got started today! Only a few more days!

Putting our FE packages together tonight. Should be fun!

All I can suggest is don't overpack. It's really not that bad doing laundry on board! Happy packing!!

I have stuff made for them, and am bringing it just in case they do show up at the meet. Maybe if they don't get back to us, then we just give it to Saratoga Kathy & Dlpyow's rooms? I have stuff for these other rooms, but the one item I have is only enough for the main people from the FE list.

Scillycruiser - safe travels! To us vacation starts as soon as you lock the door to the house and hit the road! We've got about 4 days for that.

Nice!! As long as it shows up as confirmed on your activities/excursions the cabana is yours. You won't be charged until the day of Castaway just like any other excursion or shipboard charge. You are going to love it

FE Packages done! That was so much fun. We're so excited! The kids don't know anything yet! We did make packages for all the rooms... should be fun!

We watched the documentary on the Disney Cruise line last night. No surprises, just looks like the perfect vacation with kids. Trying to pack without suspicious kids watching is tough! Found our water shoes today!

We leave Friday, so we're 5 days away!!!! YEAH!
