We're not packed at all yet .....not even sure if the kids dress up clothes & swim trunks still fit or not . Of course DH will have to come back into town and have all his decent clothes washed b4 we can even pack up. Oh well there's always a store or 2 along the way for the missed items. Atlease our door will be well dressed, been working on a few signs to switch it up some....

Speaking of swimming suits.. I tried mine on, & i knew one was going to be snug, but both didn't fit... ARGHHHH I grew... gonna hate to see where I am at after the cruise... I'll have to ride the elevators alone [due to weight]

Those little shampoos are adorable. The soaps too. However, if you have anything but 'normal' hair I'd bring your own. Soap too - I like my shampoo and conditioner.

Another vote for "not packed yet." I'm not a "packer aheader" I guess But hey ... I did bring the suitcases out of storage today, so that's a start! Made DH try on his shorts and swimming suits too.

We got walloped with snow today Work sent us home at 11 a.m. ... WHOO HOO! I don't have an exact figure, but I'd say a foot or more. I know you East coasters had your share recently, but we haven't had a storm like this in ages. It was kinda fun (did I just say that?!?!) ... we were outside shoveling and I was making snow angels in the front yard and waving to the plow guy as he went by and plowed us in!

If there are any Catholics in our group that are wondering about Ash Wednesday and Sunday services, after reading a post on the other cruise thread from someone in our group, I e-mailed our TA and she had the following response:

There is a priest on board for an Ash Wednesday service according to what the agent at Disney was showing in
listed in their computer system. With that said, she said that they bring clergy on for special Sundays but other than
that it doesn't show anything--now since their will be a priest on board for Ash Wednesday--he may do a Sunday
service but you will have to wait until you are onboard to find that out--sorry I can't get a definite on that one.

Thanks for the idea on the WalMart gift cards ... I just may have to pick some up. We don't have kids, but that might be a little extra special something to put in with our tip envelopes for a job well done.

Welcome to all the newcomers.

I'm going to skip around a little with my replies or thoughts.

I did pull out our suitcases and went through our vacationy stuff. I can't find Hawaiian Tropic 45 spf yet for DH. DS had some in the summer but not a popular item here in WNY yet I do plan on doing major packing on Sunday. We've had nice weather but are supposed to get hit tomorrow with awful cold, snow and winds.

As far as Mardi Gras, are we going to celebrate on Sunday at the get together & then Monday as well? I'm all for it, as Jeff said, everyone will be wondering who had the party when we're getting off in Key West with our beads on.

Last cruise we brought some candies from a shop here for the counselors as there were so many counselors and DD didn't bond with one or two but all of them! I bought phone cards & Wal-Mart cards for our servers/room attendant as an extra gift.

Jennifer, I'm with you on trying to hold back on the chocolate until cruise time. But, once I'm onboard, please be kind and gently guide me to my cabin if you see me walking around in circles in a chocolate souffle induced haze.

Oh, don't worry! I know it wasn't done on purpose. Just darn kids spot everything! LOL! I hate when websites try to stick that stuff everywhere.

Well, I have one kid packed, so we have one-fourth of the packing done. Still have to add undies for her at the last minute though. I may have to buy my 8-yr-ol DD a few summery type things. She doesn't seem to have much.

I want some snow! Y'all share. As long as it is all gone before next Friday, so they don't close the airport.

We're just rapping things up here in Köln. We're going to head down to Frankfurt tonight to stay near the airport. Makes for an easier travel day home.

I can't believe we're down to a week left. In 7 days and 2 hours from now, we will be leaving home for Metro Airport. . . .

Wish it was me ...but nope!! I'm the one that asked PhotoLisa if I could make a copy of her Tshirt or pillowcase design into a magnet for our door!! And of course she was sooooo nice and said yes!! Now I just have to write our names and room # on it so nobody steals it!! The door magnets I made arent too bad I guess. I just know that they are nothing like all the rest of yours!! But that being said I have had them on my fridge for months and my SIL thought Disney had made them for us and sent them to us!! Wouldnt that be nice!!?
