Before I reply to others... I hear a few talking about door posters & remember some from our last cruise, but forget HOW you would hang them up ? was there a peg board, or a hook ??? HELP ! !

But in my defense... If you grow up and have NEVER heard that cucumbers are used for making pickles... would you know? I'm not a stupid person... just really naive sometimes. I graduated magna cum laude with double degrees.. I'm not dumb. Oh nevermind I'm shutting up now...

FYI everyone - just got back from Target, in their trial size section they have small bottles of Tide (enough for 4 loads) for 99 cents. It's liquid but it should be fine in whatever bag you might use for bathroom stuff like shampoo and perfume.

I just got off OTC's website, and I will bring the following to share with everyone:

For Mardi Gras - Glow in the Dark tattoo's (peace, love, USA, and so on)
For the pirate party - Pirate tattoos

I will also have left over a few pirate mustaches, and possibly a couple of hoop earrings.

LOL! Just last night I was seeing if my Tivo would go far enough ahead to let me set my Season Pass for the Amazing Race!

I always feel like my vacation is really close when I finally take out the 3 pairs of socks, 2 barrettes and handfuls of change that are still laying in the bottom of my suitcase from our last trip!

We have 10 black pirate bandanas.. and will probably use 3 or 4. You all can have the extras if you want them.

Hello, I am DW to rjh8115, I also have small (DS8.5 3rd grade and DS 6.5 1st grade) Pokemon and Yu Go OH card players and traders...They're bringing their cards too. Our ds's are emailing with some other families If your son wants another pen pal shout out our way....I will try to keep up with the emails while DH is away next week!!

The doors are metal. You can get magnet tape or print your signs using magnet paper. Or go the old fashion route and take all the magnets off the fridge

I made a sign on our computer, printed it, went to Office Max and had it Laminated and then put magnet tape on the back. I believe that the room doors are metal.

I've been reading for a couple of weeks- we're so excited to go! It's been so helpful to "hear" what everyone says.
We're all 6 dressing up for pirate night- well, DH doesn't know it yet, but he has a shirt. Don't know how into it the kids will be- they are 5, 4, 3, and almost 2. Older 2 boys will love it.
Does anyone know what the temperature of the boat is? Should I pack long sleeves for everyone, are the dining areas cool... help! I have the kids clothes all ready, then I thought yikes- I'll need to redo!

Isnt it funny...we must all be on the same page or it is just some weird coincidence!! I just checked my Tivo also yesterday!! Cat miss Survivor or Lost!!

I know that my vacation is close when I can actually take the door signs off the refrigerator that I've had made since Sept. and put them in the suitcase!!! YEA!!

I really can not wait to meet all of you!! Met beaner720 and her husband last weekend! What a super couple! Can't wait to meet the rest of you!

Well, now I am really bummed about missing Cozumel. Costa Maya sounds beautiful, but not for what we wanted to do. I was really looking forward to spending the day at Paradise Beach where they bring your food to you in your loungechair and everything. Sniff. And they had the kayak, water trampoline, and iceberg climbing thing. The girls are really bummed too.

Hi Jill & Welcome, where are you from ? I don't know what the temp on the boat is, but for me out of the northeast, anything above 60 will be heaven. Our temps have been single numbers at night & below freezing in the days

I did see island temps post some where & they can vary
repeated cruiser answered:
Each year is different. We've cruised during Feb for the last two years and had
different weather each time.

In 04, it was rainy and cold in PC , warm in Nassau , but we missed CC due to
high winds and waves .

In 05, it was sunny and warm in PC , and just wonderful in Nassau and CC . The
water temp at the Family Beach was 75F (pools were 83F) .

With the routing of this cruise, I am anticipating nice weather. I think the
only question mark will be CC.

Thanks for reminding me about Tivo. I have to set our ReplayTVs to keep a couple of shows as they may get replaced by new ones before we see them. Gotta have Survivor, ER, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Scrubs, etc.

I guess Costa Maya has a lot of Jungle & Ruins... I am searching for ATV rentals.. If i find anything good, I'll post it
