February 24-28, 2010--Help me Plan-Now I have something. 2-1-2010

Your trip is so close!! :woohoo:

That's very cool you'll have some other people going to hang out with. :thumbsup2 And golfing - nice! :goodvibes

Yep, my ticker says 5 more day.
I hate feeling frantic.
So much is going on.
I'm packing and unpacking.
I came to realize, it is not going to be warm in Florida.
High in the 60's, may 70.
Yes it is balmy to us Wisconsinites,
But I'm packing layers.
I took out my bermuda shorts and a pair of capri's.
I added a pair of capri sweatpants and
a pair of old Navy grey pants, that
can still roll up into capri's.

I hate being cold/miserable.
I'd rather take off layers, than
wishing I had more on.
Plus, I'll have my car, and I can walk
out to my car if I get overly warm.

Callie bought me a poncho today for $8.00 at Target.
So much for the dollar ones.
It is suppose to rain.
One of the wives e-mailed me
and said if it rains, they are heading
back early Friday morning, instead of golfing.
So if it rains, I'll head to Animal Kingdom.
I'm not going to golf by myself,
in the rain, plus I don't know if they allow
people to golf/ with carts in the rain.

And, I twisted my knee today.
I've been working out really hard,
and my Dr. warned me, I am to heavy
to be running,
pounding my knees.
So I don't know if it was a fluke thing.
I rant up our insane/steep/narrow steps
to retrieve something,
I turned around to go back down,
and my knee didn't turn with me.
It didn't hurt that much, but as the day
went on, my knee buckles,
and I almost went down a couple of times.
Hopefully it heals in 5 days.

My back was hurting last nite and that went away.

Tomorrow I am surprising my sister
with a 50th birthday party celebration.
I have so much to do.

Callie and Matt came home,
and I've been doing their wash.
I am so inane with laundry.
I can't stand it sitting around and I end up doing it,
and they know.

I haven't told my oldest sister I am going to Florida.
I was suppose to plan a vacation with her.
But this is work-related, and I just happen to be going along.
We are suppose to be planning a trip to St. Louis to watch
the Brewers play. This is her suggestion.
But for some reason, my family thinks I am a travel agent
and should plan and make the arrangements.
We are suppose to be going in April 2011,
me and 2 of my sisters.
I keep telling them, it is only a year away, and
we should have a meeting.
They look at me, like I am nuts.

Things have changed within a day already.
I have a feeling boss momma, isn't liking the golf idea.:rotfl:

Oooh, that would be so much fun! I love St. Louis. My sister still really wants to go to Los Angeles when they play the Angels this year but I know that won't happen. But after our trip to Philly and seeing their stadium we want to go see some other ballparks and visit the cities.

Only a couple days left, so jealous!

Can you look up the dates for me,
I'm sure you have the schedule. LOL.
I went through my suitcase again and took out my bermuda shorts
and some of my warm weather shirts.
The temps are suppose to be now in the 60's.
I was looking at my crocs this morning, but I think I will leave them home, I don't like wearing them under blue jeans and they are not comfortable to wear in a park all day.
I am going to bring along 2 heavy pair of tennis shoes.
I think I am going to take along my back pack, I got,
when I went on my cruise. That way, I'll carry that on to the plane along with my purse. I know they won't loose my luggage, but if we are delayed for some reason, I'll take a change of clothes along, just in case we have to drive straight to the Boardwalk for our ADR's at Kat's resturant.

What are you talking about, we don't have a magnetic schedule already on the side of the refrigerator...:rotfl: I thought your son was the Brewer nut too. LOL.

I think temps in the 60s sounds great especially if we are supposed to get snow here. :scared1: That's pretty much what it was like when my sister and parents were there and they said kind of the same thing about it being great weather for walking around the parks.

My son is the Brewer nut. His planning consist of turning in the wrong direction on the way home from work, and seeing if there is anyone in the parking lot, to determine if there is a Brewer game, then driving to a park and ride, take a bus in and then going into the cheap seats.

I'm sure he knows already that tickets go on sale Saturday!! :goodvibes
My DD and have our games all picked out!! ;)

I really don't know if he knows or not. He is such a last minute person. I met him one evening for supper and he took me to Buffalo Wild Wings-yuck and we watched the Brewer Game on tv. He were laughing about the Brewers and other things, and he said, "there is nothing else to do in Milwaukee, except go to the Brewer games, but said, the price of tickets keeps going up, and he hates paying a lot of money for cheap seats.

It's lunch time, and I'm waiting till 1:45 p.m. to check into AirTran. We have decent seats across from each other, actually aisle seats, but I want to see if we can get closer to the front.
An Airtran employee told me they keep the first row open for anyone in a wheel chair, and if they are not taken at the 24 hour mark, they are up for grabs.
So I'm going to be refreshing my monitor,
except my boss wants me to drive him to a car dealership
this afternoon to pick up his car.
Sheesh, why does work have to get in the way.:rotfl:
