My sister, my mom, and I will be sailing with you. It's a girls only trip to celebrate mom's 70th birthday (Feb 24). For her 65th, we all went to WDW and had an absolute blast. Hope we all have an equally good time on the Dream.

Hi design_mom. We are very excited about this cruise. My family is cruising, my husband and two boys (ages 9,6), my brother, former sister-in-law and their kids are sailing with us along with my dad, his girlfriend and my former sister-in-law's parents. This is the first time we have sailed with any of our extended family. Have you been on a Disney cruise before? It is going to be great fun!

Hi! We are also sailing on this cruise and are very excited! It will myself, dh, son 10 and daughter 7. My kids will live in the kids clubs so may be making friends with some of the other kids on here. This will be our 2nd Disney cruise...we were on the 1st 5 day cruise on the Magic. We were out there close to a hurricane and missed our 2nd day at CC and hit 30 foot waves so it was very memorable!!

We are excited to be on the Dream and my kids are so excited for the Aquaduck!! We booked one of the aft verandah staterooms with the bigger balcony so I'm excited to relax out there. If anyone has a question about Disney cruises, I can try to answer from my last cruise.

Hi design_mom. We are very excited about this cruise. My family is cruising, my husband and two boys (ages 9,6), my brother, former sister-in-law and their kids are sailing with us along with my dad, his girlfriend and my former sister-in-law's parents. This is the first time we have sailed with any of our extended family. Have you been on a Disney cruise before? It is going to be great fun!

I have been on cruises before, but never a Disney cruise. My mother has never been on a cruise before. My sister and I took her to WDW for her 60th birthday... and decided to try the Disney cruise for her 70th. I am sure we'll have a great time.

My kids were really disappointed that we were going without them so we decided to schedule our summer vacation on a cruise (5-day Dream in June), so I'll go from none to two in a matter of months! I am hoping that's the right choice. Back when we booked it, we'd been to WDW relatively recently and everyone thought the cruise sounded like fun. Now, everyone is itching to go back to WDW, but we are not planning to go for a couple more years (the cruise is our "Disney trip" in our vacation rotation!) I hope I don't hear "This is fun, but I'd rather be at WDW!"

We just got off the 3 night Dream (10/13-10/16). There were 7 of us in 3 cabins - extended family. We booked this Feb cruise while on board. I'll be celebrating my birthday as well on the 24th! Hopefully, we'll be traveling with another couple. Right now it's my DBF and myself. We're both in our 50's - not bringing the "kids" along this time. It will be my 11th Disney cruise and his 4th. We obviously love cruising!

Our friends have decided to join us! We have been assigned 6690 as one of our rooms, have a 5E GTY for the other. I booked Palo for us for the night of the 24th, booked it for 6:30, so we'll have plenty of time to enjoy Pirate Night.

Oh, well..... guess I'm the only one still here. Anyway, I now see that Pirate night is scheduled for Castaway Day; still glad we have Palo early enough to still enjoy the evening. I also splurged and booked a cabana on Serenity for the 4 of us. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Anyone still in GTY status? When we booked our 2 rooms, both were GTY - our 1 room was assigned very quickly - still waiting on the other one. It's a 5E GTY.

Sorry I can't help you out, StingfanCB. We aren't booked on GTY status. Have you heard anything yet? I wonder if final payments being due last week will help the GTY status along a bit?

Whew - we are a pretty quiet bunch. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Everyone! I just book this cruise for my daughter and I. She just turned 9. We went on a Disney cruise a few years ago. At that point my daughter was going through a velcro phase, so she refused to even look at the kids club. but now i know she will be ready to join the fun. i'm hoping to book a little time for mama at the spa too.

right now my daughter doesn't know about the cruise. so i'm trying to decide if i should surprise her or tell her in advance. we are going to FL to visit family for the first half of the week. so i could get away with not telling her until right before the trip. hmmm... what to do, what to do.
