Hi all! Figured it would be easiest to compile a list of the folks who want to do fish extenders. That way we all had just one place to look to find who/how many.

Hi Kelly,

Welcome to the board! We also live in Michigan and can't wait for some warm and sunny weather! It seems that most of the people here are from cold, northen states as well as Canada. This is our 7th cruise, however, first cruise with the kids and first Disney cruise. We have a DS 5yr and DD 3yr. A lot of us plan on meeting by the Goofy pool at 3PM on Saturday if you want to stop by and say "Hi". Look for lime green ribbons, also some shirts. Have a great cruise!

We are all going on this cruise to.
Took me a while to find the discussion-LOL
There are 6 of us going: DH, Me, DD 16 (17 in 1 month), DD 15, DD 11 (almost12), and DD 7.
I am sure I will be at the family pool a lot this time.
Look for me...I'll have a Disney Bon Voyage Drink in my hand-LOL
If there is a meet & greet can someone post the details again? I missed reading them.

It's ok with me if you join the fish game, because I planned my goodies for a dozen families and right now there are only nine. I think some people have already left on their vacations though, so they may not know you've joined, or may not have time to pick up an extra goodie.

I'll add you to the fish list. Do you know your stateroom number yet?

As for a meet - we're planning on 3pm by the Goofy pool. I'll be in a lime green shirt - some other folks are planning on wearing lime green ribbons or shirts as well.

My DH, DS6 and DS3 will be joining you! I am part of "Kelly in Michigan"'s extended family. We are so excited - this will be our first cruise (not including the SS Badger car ferry on Lake Michigan ). My kids have no clue that we are going anywhere!! They have both watched the DCL promo dvd several times (they think it just came randomly in the mail), and ask several times a week if we can go on one of those Mickey boats sometime. "Maybe next winter..." we tell them. They are also asking when we can see "the cousins" next (Kelly in Michigan's family). "Hopefully sometime soon..." we tell them. I'm amazed that we've kept this a secret for a year... only four days to go!!! See you all soon...

Hi. This is our first Disney cruise, SB and I just booked it last week!! It looks like we are going to be in the minority, coming from the South!! (I won't tell you what our weather has been like!) I'd like to participate in the fishextenders as well. As long as I can find the time in the next 2 days to make something to hang outside the door. Anyone ever buy one instead?? We're in cabin 5629, but it was a gaurantee, so that may change. Prob'ly not though! We'll bring treats from Texas to put in the bags!!

To Kelly - our nephew Mitchell will be thrilled to meet your son - he is 13 also.

To Im a Princess - our daughter Madeleine, her cousin Sydney, along with Emma and Allison have been talking on the kids thread and are all around the same age as your 11-year old daughter - hopefully they can connect.

To Im a Princess, Jessica and Tanya - your children join the ever-growing list of 6 and 7 year-olds who are certain to have an absolute blast next week!!!!

No, we're driving all the way down to Providence. Flights were nearly $150 per person cheaper and it's only a hour longer for us to get there than to Manchester. I'll drive an extra hour to save $450!

Does anyone know what time is the Pirates in the Carribean party? I booked dinner at Palo on Weds-day 5 and now heard pirate party is that day. We have costumes and everything and would hate to miss it. Hope we can reschedule...

Packing, Packing Packing................


Jamaylyn - I beleive that Downtown Disney is about 25 - 30 minutes from the airport. As for dining, go to www.disneyworld.com then click on the More Magic tab which will show you a link to Downtown Disney. You can see all of the different restuarants and shops.
I don't know if you have a Rainforest Cafe near where you live, but it is a pretty neat restaurant. You are really paying more for the atmosphere. The servings are huge, so my husband and I usually share a meal. We really like the ribs!
