Here is another email I received from DA. I asked about the cashout rate. This again was answered within 24 hrs!!

All points earned prior to 10/01/02 will be at the old rate. All points earned as of October 1st 2002 will be at the new rate. We will be allowing members to cash out for $5 instead of just $10 and up. This will enable members who didn’t quite earn enough for $10 to still get something. I hope that I have successfully answered your question.

Will we be able to cash out at the old rate? If we had been able to cash out to begin with the old point value would have been in effect.

I was just looking at the times on the emails and I don't get why the email I received is before I sent mine. I sent it yesterdayafternoon, and when I checked my email today it was there. (it was a prompt response though)

PhillyDisnynut, Disney Awards is (was?) a rewards program where you could earn Disney Dollars. You could earn points by clicking on links and shopping through their site. However .... quite a few of the DA members have yet to be paid or have had their rewards lost in the mail. The owner, Kristi, kept promising to pay the members and make new changes to the site except that never seem to happen ... then she disappeared sometime last year (Nov or Dec) without paying her members. Now, there seems to be a new management team at DA ... For now, the site says it isn't accepting any new members ... There are a lot of other programs where you can earn DD$ such as Click to the Magic CreationsRewards etc.

Thanks for the information. According to my records, I have 3,479 points. I hope to get something--it took a lot of "clicking" to earn them!

Are the members going to be able to continue with searches to earn points when the site is back up? When will we know what is happening? I havent received any e-mail yet.

I just got a reply back from the new staff about the owner. Can you believe I received my reply in last than 6 hours. They say the new owner is BTK Inc. They also said they are allowing the members eligible to cash out for the 3rd quarter to be first. They are going to have something on the web site when we can start cash out procedures.

I sent in an e-mail as well and they said that they would be looking at giving the members the referral points they earned too! They were very fast in answering the e-mail ... This seems to good to be true ... but I'm hoping that we all get to cashout!

Boy, I hope this works out. Hopefully I will be able to cash out. I lost some points along the way, though.
