Here's another Pic I just found from last year. Apparently, it doesn't matter who you are. You have to do the safety drill! :rotfl2:

I Love Eeyore!

Hey what are you guys doing in Key West and Grand Cayman? We just plan to walk around Key West, and we have a non-DCL excursion booked for GC. But then we're going back to KW and GC two weeks later on Charles' company cruise. We want to save money, so we would rather not book excursions. Any ideas? How about a cheap beach day (or afternoon) in GC?

You can get bikes for the day rather cheaply and everything on the island is reachable by bike! I don't recommend mopeds though... too many people don't know what they'Re doing and there are always accidents.

Key west we are just going to go to walk around and explore. Get Key Lime Pie Grand Cayman we have a beach excursion booked

For Grand Cayman we want to do stingray city... I'm waiting on info from Nativeway now for a 5 hour Stingray City, Coral Reef Snorkel and Rum Beach excursion...see if they have space and if the Magic times work for them... (It's $30 LESS per person and includes a snorkel stop that the cruise line's offer doesn't)

We are going to explore Key West by foot and the conch train. Grand Cayman and Cozumel we are taking the beach break. Pretty simple and low key for us, just looking forward to the sun and sand. Much better than the snow and wind chill of -30C we were greated with this morning.:sad2:

So I guess we're set...

Key West - bike around, refill my Fat Tuesday coozie as many times as possible, bar hop.

Cozumel - Playa Mia beach break

Grand Cayman - Stingrays, Reef and Rum Point Tour /YEAH THEY CONFIRMED US!! ($30pp less than the cruise line!!!)

Private Island Day - CHILL OUT!

Now we just gotta plan the East Caribbean part for the following week... the reports coming back for St Croix are not very good...

so yesterday I went to a Nets vs Celtics game, Nets lost hardcore, but here are some pictures

GOOD MORNING FELLOW CRUISERS!! just decided last minute to take a cruise. i'll take the rest of the day to catch up on the previous post :coffee: . just wanted to say "hello."

okay, all caught up. i've started a google docs spreadsheet for ease in handling all the info on who's doing what, etc. its also very easy to print and pack. pm me with an email address, i'll send the invite link, then simply follow link. you will have to sign in which is nothing more than an email address and password. feel free to add what you want, change things around, whatever.

a few pages back someone asked about not getting ressies, but wanted to know the possibility of getting them on board. to my knowledge, disney holds many spots until boarding (not everyone has internet i guess is their idea), but as soon as you board you will need to make them. if you are one of the first boarding groups, your chances are great at scoring palo and spa ressies.

i added the 3:00pm meet and greet to the google doc. i think another one later on would be great, but i couldn't remember time and location someone suggested. another idea is one at the terminal. it IS chaotic there, but it's always nice to kill some time before they start calling boarding numbers. Radisson meet and greet anyone?

pouncingpluto: we're from chilly michigan also. and i'm a fellow u of m alum!!
