Trying my hand at my first holiday weekend at WDW. Going 2/19-2/22. At pop! My first time staying value too since it’s just a quick trip.
That is a really freak accident. My husband tried to grab it and when he did his magicband got caught and tore the gray part that you remove to make it fit smaller wrists
That was really nice of them. Too bad they didn't have your size. She told me it happens more than you'd think and wrote me a ticket to get a free pair of flip flops.
Oh no! I just made my park reservations and scheduled that day for MK. Sunday morning is usually a great time to go to MK because crowds tend to be low in the morning.Just a heads up to those that may be in Magic Kingdom on Sunday, February 6th Kimberwee just posted this is her pre trip report:
UDA has announced that their CELEBRATION PARTY is back!!! For all of you also planning a trip that includes Sunday, 2/6, avoid Magic Kingdom on Sunday afternoon. Loads of dance teams will be showing up throughout the afternoon/evening for the Celebration Party night.
On the Camping section someone said they saw a performer do a song that used to be in Hoop Dee Doo, and he mentioned it would be in HDD which was starting in January. Pure rumor of course.
Not getting my hopes up too much, but enough to make another version of our plans.
Thanks for the heads up. Thankfully I'm doing Epcot that day anyway.

Yes this in between part is tough. I really want to be able to do things but I still have about 6 weeks till I can make my ADR's106 days! So close to double digits yet it feels like so far away with nothing to do in the planning right now.
Unfortunately, nobody knows. I hope it's back by our trip too but since it hasn't been re-introduced in the 15 months the parks have been re-opened. I'm thinking it won't be there but will be booking our ADR's as if it is.Oh Wise Ones, are the odds zero that a Dining plan will be back by February?
Our original pre-lockdown plans had a split stay with a short dining plan stay at the beginning and the expensive dining done then. With no dining plan, I'll want to spread them out. If I think one might return but not certain I'll need to make reservations for both options, and I'd rather not do that.
Yes, I can see people adding ADR's, particularly the expensive ones, if dining plan returns. So, I'd want mine in place.Unfortunately, nobody knows. Sadly it's how things are right now. I'll take my challenge of unknowns re: dining plans in Feb vs. those who will be in the parks tomorrow when Genie drops! Those people are taking one for all of us!!Yes, I can see people adding ADR's, particularly the expensive ones, if dining plan returns. So, I'd want mine in place.
So, frustrating, I would love to make decisions and have a plan. But, so much depends on things out of my control. Like dining plan, will ala carte return to LTT, will CP have Eeyore, will there be princess dining?
I'm not a huge eater and I'm picky (Although you couldn't tell by my pooh size)
This is me too. But this will be our one-and-done trip, so character buffets were on our original plans. I have to think those will be back by Feb even if the dining plan isn't.
On the other hand, since indoor character meets are back next month, I have to think that they'll be added to G+. So, we might end up doing less character meals and more meets.
And my understanding was, CP was the only place to meet him.Yeah I am not a buffet person but would do the breakfast ones at Disney. I am gonna miss not going to The Crystal Palace for breakfast if it's not back in February. I will miss Eeyore.

If Eeyore returns, this will be surprise for DD. She loves Eeyore.
The genie thread is hopping today. It's been interesting to see how everything is unfolding. With RotR going down for so long this morning I'm curious how they will handle all the IA$ that may have been missed and how that plays into the wait times. I know it came back up with the standard 120 minute wait time. Hoping a lot of the kinks are worked out by February. I'm still not sure if Genie+ will be worth it for MK and HS my trip though. I know I am not getting it on Epcot and AK days (at least not right now since we aren't hopping this trip).
