Scrapbooksellman, after reading some posts on this thread I checked my MDE account. After logging in, on the side one of the options used to say"manage(I think) magic bands". As of this morning it said "personalize magic bands". After clicking on it, it brought up a screen that showed I had 4 MB's ordered - actually 8 as we have a split stay, so one for each of us at each resort- and a button to click to "confirm address". After clicking that a screen came up that said something to the effect of confirming my address will lead to my being able to customize MB's. Didn't go any farther as my time is limited today so going to customize tomorrow. So no emails or mail of any kind about customizing. To sure if anyone is receiving any type of mail like that anymore, I think it's just a random check your MDE thing now Hope this helped or at least didn't confuse you!

It now says make fast pass+ selections, but when I click it says date must be in window. I can't change the date from today's date.
Do I have to wait for 60 days out?? We are at 91!!

We are surprising our kids with their first ever trip. They are home when UPS, FedEx, and UPS deliver (late in the day where we are).

I just saw we can customize our bands now for our Feb trip thanks to this thread It says to choose an address to send them to. If I have them sent to DH's work, will that create any issue down the road? I don't want them delivered here. We are telling them about the trip on Christmas Day. I imagine I'd want to customize the bands prior to that, otherwise that's only like 5 weeks before our trip.

Any foreseeable issue with sending them to an address other than your home address?

I've also been on the November thread because we are taking our grandson for a week this month. In February we only have 3 Disney days following a week with my sisters further south in FL. To answer your question - yes, you should be able to have the Magic Bands shipped to your DH's work (assuming he is allowed to have personal packages delivered there) with no problem. A few people on the November thread did that mainly because they didn't want the package left on their front porch unattended.

They won't ship until after Christmas anyway. They ship the day after your last day to customize. That date is in the upper right corner on the customize page I think.

This got my blood pumping this morning but I will have to wait until after our November trip to customize new bands for February. When I went to MDE I learned that I would have to deactivate my current band to customize a new one. Now I have one more thing to fit in between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What days are your November trip? I know you told us before but I am lazy and don't want to go back through all the old entries. It is soon! I hope you have great weather and look forward to your return and report

Wow very exciting news about customizing the magic bands and a link to FPt.

Anyone been able to go into the times for FPt?

I haven't checked yet. I just logged in this morning for a quick check before heading to church and found out about the exciting news. I will costumize Lethe bands later after I get back from church! I can't wait!

Yes we have to wait for 60 day mark. I asked a cast member yesterday when I called to switch us from SPD to families with small children deal.

Yes. Tickets must be purchased and linked. They won't ship automatically upon ordering , they ship at 1 month from your check in date so you still have time. That being said, In order to select FP+ times 60 days out you must have your reservations/ tickets linked. This is the part you really actually need to be on top of if you want to get your passes for the rides/ shows/ parades you want at the times you want. I highly suggest that you mark your 60 days out on the calendar and get everything linked and ordered before then

60 days.

We have just 3 more sleeps at home before flying to MCO! (That's Orlando International Airport for those of you who drive.) Thanks for the good wishes. We check into the WL on the 14th and check out on the 21st The weather is looking pretty good with highs in the 70's to low 80's and just a couple of days with showers possible. That time of year it does gets chilly overnight though so we'll be carrying fleeces in the back pack for the evenings we're staying in a park.

Our 60 day mark for our late February trip is Christmas Day so I may not be trying to choose our FP+ until 59 days out!

It will only be your room key at this point. I suggest adding your tickets and linking them to your reservations first. That way when you reach the 60 day mark when you can do FP+ reservations you'll be ready to go. your tickets must be linked in order to do FP+ though and it's is not available until 60 days. Your magic band window opens at 90ish days and closes at 30 days. They will not ship until it closes Hope that helps some

YES!!! Saved $59.88 on 7 night stay at Pop, with 6 day base park tickets, and up grade to Magic your way dining plan. It's not a lot but money is money!

That's great! You are the first person I've seen that was able to save money. I was wondering why Disney had released two codes that had the same result. Glad to know it came out different for someone!

I think it works out better for people with a longer length of stay who have 2 adults & 2 children in their party. It's kind of an odd promo but whatever works!

A birthday trip for a little princess! How exciting! The last time we were at WDW my DD dressed up in her Cinderella dress one day and we spent the day at MK. We ate at CRT that day and it was definitely a highlight of our trip! My DD really enjoyed all the attention she got dressed up as Cinderella.

The bus driver even made a cute comment. He go on the overhead announcement system and told those riding that they needed to be on their best behavior since we had a princess aboard the bus! It was really sweet.

This is just one example of why I love WDW and Disney so much! It just seems like the majority of cast members really enjoy their work and just do little things that just make you smile and enjoy yourself.

Your DD will love AoA. The theme just looks amazing! If I hadn't got the good deal with S/P/D we would have been staying at A0A in a Little Mermaid room. But I switched us to PORFQ since AoA LM was not part of the special deal.
