February 2014 Code watch

There was price hike on all resorts as of June 2013. So yes, prices have risen. Thus, the masses waiting for the S/P/D deal. It won't decrease the cost of your room but it takes the edge off the package price.

I'm one of those that are waiting anxiously for the S/P/D deal. I hope it is offered, I'll take any deal at this point ;-)

My understanding of the previous Stay/Play/Dine offers, and the one that's expected to be released, is that adults pay the child prices for both theme park tickets and dining plans.

The 2014 regular dining plan prices are:
$58.66 per night per adult or junior (ages 10-17)
$18.88 per night for children (ages 3-9)

So if I have this right you'd be paying $18.88 per night per person for the regular dining plan.

(This post will also help test if I'm understanding S/P/D correctly. :goodvibes)

Thank you. I appreciate your response. Off to plan :-).

Hoping for a great discount for the last week of Feb. I know the rumor is that is will be Stay/Play/Dine. Can someone please help me come up with a quote if that is the offer we get? Resort: All Star Movies Family: 4 Disney Adults (Me, Hubby, DD13, DD10). We would want to upgrade from the quick service plan to the reg. dining plan. Thanks! Just trying to run some "what if" numbers to start planning.

Has anyone heard any rumours about what the black out dates will be for next winter's SPD?

Shouldnt it be bout the same as the pin that came out?? I think that might be somewhere on this thread?

I just called Disney and asked about PINs associated with my name. I had gotten one awhile back for Fall (via email) and my husband received one a year ago via mail. He said there was a pin on my account but not for February yet. He said there have not been any pins released for hat time frame. Has anyone else received a pin for the Feb 2014 time frame?

I received a PIN for that time frame. It was for the stay/play/dine deal.

He was wrong. I also got a pin for spring 2014 and booked with it.

Can anyone tell me or help me figure out how much it would cost for 2 adults and 1 child to do the deluxe dining plan with the SPD promo when staying at a value resort? Is it just the full price of child's DxDDP for the adults and children? I saw mention if staying at a value that it was the child's QSDP + a DxDDP upgrade fee? So how do I figure out how much we'd pay for the children and adults on DxDDP at a value?

Can you post the blackout dates please.

This is how it was worded:

"When you visit Walt Disney World Resort for stays most nights 1/5-3/2/14 and 3/16-4/12/14, you have the chance to enjoy some great offers to help you experience all that's new to see and do."

If those are the blackout dates for S/P/D, we're not going.

I was so excited to get Mickey mail today and even more excited to see that it was a RO PIN!!! ...for the same dates as the current GP promotion

Guess I'll just wait for the winter GP offer in a month...

Maybe she was late in getting her PIN. What is the point in getting a PIN if it is the same as the GP offer?:confused3
