DH & I just booked WL for 2/2-9.
Am I just wasting time and energy hoping for some sort of discount???
Will be picking up AP's and TIW card this Nov. when DH & I attend the F & W 5k.
Maybe an AP discount, at the very least??????
I don't want to hold out hope if chances for some sort of discount are slim to none.......

From the pins that folks are getting for the first part of the year I'm hopeful that public discounts will follow. We r getting APs too and I'm banking on that at the very least. Or at least my checking account is banking on it ; )

Hi! I'm hoping someone could please help me out here. I am planning a trip for Disney in Feb but I am locked in to one specific week. I could only go 2/16-2/23 because of work. When offers have come out in the past is this a week that gets blacked out?? I really hope not....

PIN codes are tied to individual special offers that are emailed or regular mailed to people. You may receive a room discount or free dining offer, for example, but the use of the offer is limited to the person named on the offer combined with the unique PIN code number.

Unfortunately there is no certain way to sign up for PINs as Disney figures out who they want to send them to. But you do want to make sure you have an account with Disney, plan out packages and add them to your cart, order free DVDs -- all kinds of things that help give Disney your contact info and show your interest in visiting.

I will leave the explaining to someone wiser and with more experience, but yes you can get the discount applied after you book your vacation. I did it last year. I booked my trip about September 24 I think, the s/p/d deal came out early October and I called up and got it applied. Saved a lot of money and was able to upgrade to the deluxe dining plan!

Lately I have been thinking that I want to go for the Christmas Decorations. I don't think its manageable this November since I just got back, but maybe next November and it's good to know that I could always call and adjust if an offer comes out this time next year. I wanna wait to book it though.

It was explained to me that with this discount all members of your family pay kids prices for park tickets and the dining plan. No discount on room rates.

Just did some calculations and free dining saves us more money than any of the other discounts. Is there no chance of this being offered in Feb 2014? Was so spoiled last time, reality is sinking in....

Free dining will not be offered.. It's going to be play/stay/dine.
The pins have already gone out.
Should be book able as a general public offer the 1st week of October.
The deadline for the Pincode is mid September. Watch for it to be released as a Disney visa offer shortly after that. About a week after the Dis Visa offer is out it should be book able as a general public offer.

I'm in. I reeeeeaaaaaaly want a room discount. Oh PIN fairies, please oh please bless me with a PIN. I really don't want to wait until October to find out if staying onsite is in the budget I've put together for our trip or not. I wouldn't be nearly as happy with free dining or P/S/D but they'd be better than nothing and would be a lot closer to my budget.

Our first trip (2010) the TA rocked it - 2nd trip (2012) a new TA at same local agency really fouled things up and anyhow now I'm in a pickle - nervous to book myself but nervous to use an out of town TA & def not using local place again ... Looking at possible dates of 2/27-3/9... Hoping to see some discounts soon! Want to book now but undecided on TA issue...

Joining in! We're really hoping for a free dining PIN for February 22-28, 2014. But we'd settle for a room only too! This year we used the stay, play, dine discount and because of a glitch in the system, it only ended up being slightly more than if we got free dining. We typically don't do dining, so I don't know what it would really cost us to do SPD.

I have always booked my rooms myself. I like having the control to change things when I want and not having to wait for someone else. I have inquired with a few and never been able to receive more of a discount than I could get on my own.
