02/08 $4.00 I caved already this morning and stopped at BK. Needed something unhealthy! And there will be more, have to stop at the store on my way home from work today.

I'm jumping on board this month. My goal for this month has 6 parts:

1 - track all my purchases in my Easy Spend app;
2 - purchase only what has been put on my shopping list - no impulse buys;
3 - use only cash, not even my debit card;
4 - pack my lunches each day for work;
5 - plan all my dinner menus ahead of time, so no last minute stops and
6 - have cash left over at the end of each pay period to add to my Disney travel account.

One week into the month and I am right where I want to be. I consider it a huge victory that in my grocery shopping on Saturday and visit to Target last night on my way home from work to pick up my Lady and the Tramp Bluray I got only what was on my list :cool1:

I get paid tomorrow and it looks like I will have $40 for my travel account! Go Me :cheer2:

I had a busy (and spendy) day today. I went grocery shopping, had lunch out, met a friend for coffee, and scored some good deals at Goodwill. At goodwill I got a Cleveland Indians Jersey for $5.50 and a "True Blood" t-shirt for a $1. I am so excited.

Meeting my best friend tomorrow night for dinner. She's stressing out about her wedding. At this rate I'm not sure I"m going to meet my goal this month!

I'm just not doing so well this month. I seem to be spiraling out of control. Last nite I just did not want to deal with finding/making something for dinner, so I opted for pizza delivery. DD was thrilled. It was good, but not good on the pocketbook. On a positive note, I have no plans to spend any money this weekend, so maybe I'll get a couple of No Buy days in. We'll see.

Seems like several off us are off to a tough start! I had those three good days, then.... We'll get better! :goodvibes

We had some pretty decent snow last night but I was still out at 8am to get my car registation renewed (Today was the last day I could do it) and I made a stop at Marc's for a few groceries.

I also stopped and picked up "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" on dvd from CVS, but it was a birthday present to myself so I am not counting it here.

I am in for the day as more snow is coming.

I'm on track since my last post on Weds, but I really can't take any credit for it....Came right home from work on Weds evening and was treated to dinner by my sister and her hubby. My wonderful niece was accepted into the Disney College Program for June - Jan so we had a nice celebration for her. princess:

On Thursday I woke up at 5 feeling queasy and it all went downhill from there. I had a really virulent stomach flu that kept me home all day Thursday and Friday. My DH got sick on Friday afternoon. Thank goodness our DS is grown and out on his own. This is the worst bug I have had in 25 years!

Finally felt well enough to leave the house around 5 last night to do my grocery shopping.

Next week will be a busy one at work, but I am stocked to pack my lunches. I will also be registering for the Tower of Terror 10 miler on the 14th, but that money is coming from my Disney Account as a planned expense. I am registering at the lowest price point, so that is a help.

What is everyone doing for Valentine's Day? I am make my DH a special dinner at home - our best china and crystal with all his favorite dishes. :love:

I'm right there with you, DisneyRunnerGirl. Between my newborn baby having a cold and the stomach bug running through my house, I've spent next to nothing this month. Plus, think of what I'm saving on groceries! Haha!

Hope you feel better! I'm praying that many healthy days are in our future. The illnesses this year are particularly bad.

I am taking DD to get her dress for prom altered this evening, but I won't have to pay for that until it is finished. So one more No Buy day today. It has been hard, however, not spending on-line. I have the urge to spend, :hyper:but so far so good.

So far no big illnesses here, thank goodness! Just the usual little colds. Glad to hear everyone's getting better!

Today I had to run my 14 miles, but it was the last long run before the race in two weeks. We had a big dinner here to celebrate a family birthday, and at one point my sister's husband commented that they fly out to Disney a week from Wed. She and I exchanged panicked looks -- we have a lot to do between then and now!!! I think no buy days are going to get hard to come by.
