February, 2011 ~ Who's with me??

Just booked my trip!! Jan 30-Feb 6th at pop.

We (the DH and I) will arrive at the Wilderness Lodge Feb 5 and Depart 12 Yippee! It's a much needed vacation and it will be SO cold back home!

We'll be there February 11-18 or 19, we are booked til the 18th and are trying to figure out if we can do the extra day. We are staying at POR for the first time ever, we are usually POP goers (ok so we've only been to disney 2 times but both were to Pop Century) but with our expanding family we wanted to give a moderate a shot before we had to do 2 rooms.

We are thrilled to be visiting the mouse!!

:cheer2: 02/02/2011 - 02/09/2011 staying at CBR! :cheer2:

This will be our 4th trip as a family and our FIRST time staying on Disney property! :lovestruc

We are planning on surprising the kids :) We are ck in 2/12 -2/18!
The hubby and I are going to pick them up from school with Mickey ears and leaving right then.
Hubby and I are so excited <3 We have never done a surprise visit before!!!

We are staying at the All star movie (our first time).

OK......

We did it! We booked Jan 31 to Feb 6. I asked if free dining plan was available, she "checked", and came back saying it was! That's the only "deal" I got in the package. I asked if I could also use the PIN # that was emailed to me for 30% off the resort, but she explained only 1 deal per package. Oh well, free dining is better than nothing. Especially since my 11 year old eats like an adult, lol.

Any seasoned Disney vacationers have recommendations for what type of weather to pack for? Our first Disney trip was in Sept, so it was still hot. And we're not telling the kids! We'll spring it on them when we go, mwahaha....;)

We will be there from Jan 29th through Feb 6th for DS 6th birthday.
I have never been this time of the year but my dad has been many times and he says its hit or miss. He's been there that time of year and its been in the 50s but has also been there and its been in the 70s. Best advice I have is to do what I'm doing and just watch the weather as it gets closer.
Hope this helps!! :confused3

We booked our first time without the children this past week. We'll be there Feb. 13-20 staying on-site for the first time at POR. I am so excited about all the firsts and returning to Disney after 11 years. We will be celebrating both the DH and my birthdays and our 11 year Anniversary. Can't wait!

We are splitting our stay for the first time between CSR and WL, our two fsvorites! Hoping it is on the warmer side.

Count me in!!! :goodvibes My daughter's cheer squad is going to be there Feb. 10-14. Our school board just approved the trip this week. :thumbsup2 I'm so excited!! We have a lot of fundraising and planning to do in 3 short months. But it's going to be so worth it. :cool1:

Anyone leaving the cold to go to dis?I am so worried of a snowstorm coming and my poor dog sitter having to shovel :guilty:

Still need to get days off work and get everything booked but I'm trying to visit AKV with my mom and niece to surprise my other niece at her bday dinner at Chef Mickeys..... looking to stay 2/1-2/5! I really hope we're able to make it work! I didn't expect to get down to WDW this year and I miss it bunches!!!!

We have had hit or miss too with Feb. Nov was chilly one year too. My answer is I always multi pack, I pack sweats instead of jammies just incase and we always pack hoodies but we wear them out of the house when we leave instead of coats. We usually shed them by Georgia. I always pack sunscreen because its a different sun then us northerners are used to.

We had to cancel our free dining package as we won't have the money by due date. But we got the 25% off of resort. We have decided to keep 5 day passes and Universal as well. This is the first time we have stayed 6 days so kinda excited about that. Haven't been to Universal in almost 11 years. Harry Potter and super heros <3 Bonus.

We're going down February 26-March 5:cool1:. DD's first trip and she will be 19 months. So excited ! Staying at our favorite resort POR.

If I can get a discent airfare, you could count us in for a surprise trip for dd(6). We will go from Feb 17 to 21. We normally go in the fall. We will also be celebrating our 17 wedding anniversary and our 40th birthdays. Come on airfare, need some pixie dust on that front.

I just booked today for 2/4 to 2/7:cool1:!!!! It is a child-free trip for me....was going to go solo, but my mom is joinnig me. I had originally planned for Nov. but kids got sick the day before I was supposed to leave...so February here I come!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I have gone one other time in Feb. and it was in the 80's so while we were swimming in stormalong bay, it was snowing at home :lmao:.

This time I booked WL so I can have a warm, cozy fireplace to sit near if it is chilly!!!

I am so excited!!!

Can anyone tell me what the crowds are predicted for feb 25- mar 5 ? I would kinda like to know if its not too bad we won't have to schedule mid-day breaks...;) TIA
