February 2010

We're currently trying to book Boardwalk or VWL for feb 14 yto 19 2010. we are a family of 4 from upstate NY. Any opinions on preferred vs standard studios at Boardwalk, just curious?

We've stayed at VWL and BCV before and really liked both. We're looking for something near the "action" and convenient to Epcot and Disney Studios.

Feb 2 - 9: 3 nts AKV-Jambo/2 nts AKL-CL/2 nts AKV-Jambo!! (figured if I had to do a split-stay, easier to keep it all at once resort! :))

:goodvibes

Oh no what does "braving February mean?" Is it busy? Is it cold? I have never been in Feb.:confused3

IT most likely will be pretty cold with an odd hot day. We went had some mornings in the 30's with highs 60's, and our last day, and leaving day was high 70's :headache:

We also went late FEb and found the weather was more consist for the week but it can be so unpredictable for Jan/Feb

Hmmmm now I may have to rethink things....:confused3.

I'm going with a friend and her parents Feb 7-12th and staying at the BWV- (a 2-bedroom with Boardwalk view). We think we just picked the restaurants for our ADR

I just got brave enough to say it out loud to DH yesterday, hopefully we can go about 2/6-2/11. DD5 will be having her birthday on 2/11, but don't want to pay high President's Day weekend rates which probably start on 2/12. Hopefully I can find a good deal, or we'll have to wait until 2011. We were just there this year in March, but already DH & I are itching to get back. We definitely have the Disney Disease!

Oh yeah, hoping to stay at the Contemporary or Poly. Praying for deals! :-)

We are going 2/5 to 2/9. Haven't booked yet. Looking at ASMu in a suite. If they do 4 for 3 are suites included?

We are going 2/6 to 2/13 and booked garden view at the Poly. I just need to book our plane tix now! :goodvibes

Not sure on the suites thing..

We did the opposite, we booked our airfare but not the vacation! Hopefully if all things stay the same we will go 1/31 to 2/7!

Prev poster, I dunno if Southwest flies out of ME but they released flights for your dates and they are part of the sale that is going until midnight tomorrow.. airfare for four from KC to MCO was $636! It was actually more because we are flying sundays if we chose saturdays it would have been $80 dollars less.

We just booked for Feb 15-20th, flights only so far. Pondering where to stay - love the dolphin but we think we might want to do a Disney resort this time so we can use ME. Tough call really - Dolphin is like a deluxe at moderate pricing. Anyone know the rates for Disney for Feb 2010? Hoping to score an AP rate or some other discount if possible.

Really hate that DD1 is in school now. No flexibility in the planning. We're looking at going over her "Mid-Winter Break" in Feb...the week of President's Day (Feb 15-19). Comparing rack prices to what we paid last time we went (Early December) it's a little frustrating - $50/day more for same level. There is another family wanting to go with us so we're looking hard at all our options....and praying for a great code.

We're looking at Jan 30-Feb 6. Hoping for free dining, since that's a better deal than the 4/3 if you're staying at a Value. We have two kids and one is on the adult price now, since he just turned 10.

We're booked for five nights at CSR, the fifteenth to the twentieth. Thinking of doing an extra night and flying in late! We'll see! We're teachers and its this or nothing! :cool1:

I just booked Jan. 31 - Feb. 9 I am so excited I can't wait!!!:banana: We are going to have two rooms at POP.

We changed our hotel and dates slightly- Now going January 30th-feb 6th and staying at the Contemporary! Now PLEASE give me the 4/3 deal!!!:goodvibes

Help me please to understand. I have been trying to plan our first trip to WDW for over a year, lose job, get job move dates etc. Now I think I finally have a plan to go Feb. 6-13th. If I book this now and then a deal comes out, how do I change the res to get the deal, (hopefully 4/3)?

When the deals are released, they'll have a code. You call reservations and tell them you want to apply the code to your existing reservation. Assuming that code is available for your dates and hotel (there'll be a limited number of deals at that rate), they'll give you your new total and e-mail you a new invoice.
