This is what I found for the explanation of all the Values and most of the Moderates sold out for the end of January & the first few days of Feburary.

National Dance Team Championship (February 1-3, 2008)
National High School Cheerleading Championship (February 8-10, 2008)

The attendance at P&PP and BBB are probably not going to be impacted much because of the ages of the competitors.

Hopefully all of you going at this time will have a great time and low crowds. We will be there for ESPN the Weekend at the end of the month.

Ok Feber's ... we had to cancel our Christmas trip and I rescheduled to Feb. Are there any codes? I can't take the time to read 80 something pages. We were really disappointed about having to move our times but now looking forward to low crowd levels. If there were any codes do you think any are left?

I'm sorry that you had to cancel your Christmas trip but like you said look forward to lower crowds!! The general public discount expired on 12/15...I believe that all of the other discounts have expired too. I hope you have a great trip...what days will you be there?

Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing ok. I need some prayers. My mom is going to be having emergency surgery. She has complete retinal detachment in her left eye. It is very severe. The doctor is just waiting to get his team together and with the holiday its pretty tough. Please pray for my mom..

Hey Sabrina. I am saying a healing little prayer right now for her. I hope it can be fixed quickly and pain free as possible-as well as no side effects from it. Is it due to degeneration or eye trauma? What about her eyesight? Ok maybe my medical field background is creeping out. I always have 20 questions!!

DD10 has a cold and i told her now is a good time to have a common childhood illness-so long as we are past it by January 31.

We are going to stay at WH from Feb.23-March 5 and then on site from March 5-8. (probably AS Movies unless a great AP code comes out! )

I'll be there Mardi Gras week too, staying at the Grand Floridian (which I've never stayed at and I'm so excited). We are also going to try to go in December; We've never seen the Christmas decorations. As for counter service meals, I'm no help; we are just going to do those according to what area we are in at the time. Have a good trip!

We stayed at the Grand Floridian last Mardi Gras! It was so beautiful. We had a lagoon view room in Big Pine Key and enjoyed watching the Electric Water Pageant every night. My 2 kids call it the "chocolate hotel" because their favorite part was the turn down service every night (because of the chocolates!! )

I saw that you guys have attended the Princess and Pirate Party. What was your experience like? Was it enjoyable? Crowded? Was it worth the money? It appears (from your pics that I saw) that you guys did enjoy it. Thanks..and perhaps we will see you at the world!

I cannot answer for Wendypooh, but from previous posts from her and the idea that they are willing to do it again and possible TWICE tells me they liked it a LOT!!!

We are going to the Mardi Gras night one-2/5.

32 days!!!

We have some minor adjustments to our plan...
1st we are leaving on 1/31, driving(no DING! flights have swayed me yet) AND we can get free hotel if we take a day there and back (split the drive into 2 days) from DH hotel points. He has 2 flights but they are WAY out of the way and will take 7 hours b/t being NOT direct and layovers and drive time TO the airport. We want to go to DC in the near future(like in another year) and figured those flights would be good for that or something else further away.
We are making Thursday , 1/31, a field trip day-going to see the USS Alabama and sub, eating at Cracker Barrell, then driving to Tallahassee, it looks like. In Talahasse we will have breakfast at the hotel(hotel has a hot breakfast included-I just LOVE Hilton hotel chain(Hampton Inn)!!, Esp Homewood Suites) and get on the road to Disney. I am not sure of the mileage b/t Tallahassee and WDW, but I THINK it is somewhere in the vicinity of 5 hours.(if you know, please share). Friday,we are heading straight to DD to activate my AP and get our DDE card PLUS get my P&PP tickets AND Disney rewards redeemed! But I need to make sure of that possibility-I read it is a new thing you can redeem them in Disney. Then I will get a Pal Mickey and we will head to the hotel to check in and rest up for the luau that night!!

Has anyone gotten a Pal Mickey from ebay?? I was looking but just a tiny bit leary of it. I have never had problems with ebay merchandise, but wasn't sure. I am looking at the new one-Sorcerer Mickey. I know there are 3 versions and that is the latest one.

I guess I need to head to work .

Oh and if you have a pet and leave for over a week, where have you all boarded or brought them?? I am torn as our doxie is like my 3rd child, YET we are not willing to bring him and board him at Disney(Don't want to worry about him and have to go walk him 2x a day). My MIL usually takes him but showed little interest in it this time-mostly b/c her fence is down(understandable for his trips to do business!!).
Possibly ask neighbors who'd be willing...

I am really not sure. She has been legally blind in that eye since I can remember. But her right eye over corrected that eye. She did go through a serious trauma in August, which is where she remembers starting to see flashes. She told her Doc about the flashes but just wrote it off to the trauma and stress and never referred her to an eye specialist. Two weeks ago she started seeing the black spot in her eye and finally went to the specialist 3 days ago. It is completely detached and will take regular surgery which is tomorrow at 6 a.m. I just hope they are able to restore her vision (even if it is her normal).

Thanks Lori, I think lots of people enjoy it too. We too are driving again. Last time we held over in Lake City. I think it was about a 4 or 5 hour drive from there. But I think Tallahassee is about the half way mark for us. Which part of La. are you from? We thought about doing the AP thing since we have family there, but never did it yet. It sure would help though. Last year we went to DH's sister's house...3 hours from the world...for Thanksgiving...and it about killed me not to get in the car and go the world. It still kills me knowing how close we were. Only reason we didn't was cuse I figured it would have been super crowded and expensive for a one day ticket for the whole family.

Anyway, we are leaving Feb. 1 after DD gets out of school. We plan to drive that night as long as we are able to, then stop and rest. That should help. We are also doing the P&P party Mardi Gras night. I am sooo excited..DD will have had her make-over from BBB. Perhaps we will see you there.

Hey ~ Yes, we LOVED it!!! We had such a good time. I'd say it was well worth it. The Parade was awesome, the fireworks were soooo good, all the rides were walk on, there were TONS of characters out, it was fun. I'm hoping this year it's warmer, it was really cold last year! If we enjoy as much as we did last year, we'll probably go to both parties while we are there!!

You should go and experience for yourself, but, we loved it and won't miss it!!
