Hi Everyone, I've been traveling for a while, so I haven't had time to look at this board. It's raining and cold today, which has me thinking about warm sunny beaches all ready. I don't know how you folks who booked last year could stand waiting so long.

Thanks for the input. I added the disney round trip transfer to my reservation. The travel agent did it and provided my flight information to DCL. I feel better about the time, now that the bags will go straight to DCL.

My early dining finally cleared I didn't think my 8 year old would be good with 8:30 dining. Funny though, the TA that was in charge of my reservation is gone. So, another took min over. Anyway when adding the transfer she switched my kids around so the youngest was considered the last passenger. It ended up saving me about $200, which made the dcl transfer only cost $144 more than what my original cost.

Not sure how I fell off my email updates setting but I'm back.

We were going to pass on the FE but now want to join in the fun! DS is 10 and DD is 7. Both are really excited to be a part of it.

Looking forward to paying off the balance and trying to book Palo. I can't believe how fast the cruise is coming up!

We paid in full this week too.....We can book at the 90 day mark which is TONIGHT at 12.01am

Anyone know if i really can book once it turns Midnight?

has anyone sailed this western one before? When we went on the Eastern Cruise, we had to get up 1 day very early to do a customs inspection
( arghh that was fun) Will we be doing that again on this cruise?

Just booked my excursions--Dolphin Encounter in Grand Cayman and Mayan Ruins and Cozumel Highlights in Cozumel!!!

My dh came home with some awful news this week- he cannot take all of presidents week off. I was very upset since we then had to cancel. So we are jumping ship.....

But onto the DREAM! We will be on a shorter cruise that week and on the brand new boat.

Thank you all for your advice and conversation. I joined my new cruise thread.

Hi everyone!!!

Been MIA for a while...life has been crazy!!!

Paid in full and booked excursions, Palo, and spa treatments The cruise feels much more real now!

Down to double digits until cruising day

We are all paid too - 0 balance..whoo hoo.....

We aren't doing any Disney excursions this time ( at all! ) Not palo or any other excursions through Disney....Here's what we are doing! (we are husband & wife in our 30s and son 11, daughter 9)



Key West we are winging it and are just going to ride the train around and take the kids to the aquarium.....Nothing really much that day- since its our first day on the ship, don't want to plan much.



Grand Canyam: I booked our own Snorkel excursion with all 4 of us-
We dont have to be at the meeting spot until 9.15...snorkel is from 10-1:

Cozumel..... Again...we are on own own and have decided to spend the day here: Paradise Beach...Lots of awesome water toys and VERY inexpensive, plenty to do for all of us!!

-Palo Brunch, Dinner, and Tea (DH has opted-out of the tea)
-Key West: Trolly and Sunset Cruise
-Grand Cayman: Aquaboat & Snorkel
-Cozumel: Xel-Ha Park- All Inclusive
-Castaway Cay: Cabana? or WaveRunners??? (can't decide!!!)
-Spa: 3 treatments on 3 different days

We may not do it all, but this is what we have planned as of now.

Ive been reading various posts on the DIS boards but didnt know about this one until today-so here I am!!

We are booked for this cruise & cannot wait! Add some more Massachusians & New Hampshire-ites to the NY cruise. I just sat here & read all of the posts-wow that was a lot.

We are so excited we can hardly wait. Yes, my sister is a teacher & I am a school nurse so vacation week is the only option & this year MA & NH weeks coincide so we booked! Hubby & I have been on many cruises (pre-children) but none through Disney my sister & sister-in-law are cruise newbies.

We would love to join the FE festivities for the kids.

We plan to book (when we can):

Keys: Trolley Tour
Grand Cayman: Dolphin & Turtle Farm
Cozumel: Adventure Park (for sis & SIL only)
CC: R & R and lots of it!!

I have been getting tips from the boards & so far have added a plastic over the door shoe holder for organization (from toiletries to cameras), clothes pins to keep privacy curtain closed & hang suits to dry, pillowcases &/or blank photo mat to leave at guest services for autographs, disposable cameras for the kids & an illuminated digital alarm clock (so I can see it at night) to my ever growing packing list.

We are staying in 7610 & 7608

Cant wait to read more!
