February 18, 2006 Magic - Who's Onboard? Roll Call post #156

Sorry I haven't been around much. Two for me. DD3.5 and DD1.5. The cruise and the post cruise WDW visit are all my older one talks about. Hopefully we can meet early. We're on deck 7 in a handicapped room (MIL in a wheelchair).

We have 2 DD, one 6 and one 10. We are traveling with friends who have a DD 4 and DS 7.
The countdown continues....

Triggs did you get your airfare alread and what are you flyin? Out of Green?
maybe we can get the 4yr old together early

We got the package from Disney that included flying. We will fly out of Green on Saturday and go straight to the ship. Thinking now, we could have gotten better pricing arranging for the flying separately but this way I don't have to worry about the flights. :wizard:
My DH is a teacher at the high school and couldn't spend any extra time at the WDW. But, we are going to WDW in May for a family Disney wedding so I have that to look forward to as well.

I made all my reservations for kids clubs, Palo, Spa and excursions this morning. Reservations are open for castaway club members. 90 days and counting ........:cool1:

We are doing palo brunch on Sunday and dinner on Wed night

Just called in my final payment to All Seasons Travel! I am so excited. I should be able to get online and book at lunchtime!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe!

I CAN'T WAIT!

As soon as I saw Burma's link, I went online too and booked everything! We are traveling with 1st time Disney cruisers. Our reservations are definitely linked since my friends' names came up as people that can pick up our kids. Do you think that I can book their kids club and excursions too or will they have to wait until the 75 day mark?
:moped:

They most likely will have to wait till 75 but booking the kids club should be no problem Just let them know the site opens up 3am est or 12pm on the west depending where they are.

Happy Thanksgiving, fellow DIS'ers!

Finally, paid in full! Booked my shore excursions, Palo and registered DD8 for the Lab!

Weeeeeee!

What website do you go to? I am assuming that you use your reservatino number some how, but this is a first cruise for us, and I would like to make sure that our 11yo is in the kids program..

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Maybe alink to where I reserve things

Thanks;

Eric

Joining the ranks of those paid in full!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Booked Palo and kids club, a couple of excursions. A little tricky since we're traveling with friends, too, and they can't book yet. Hopefully they'll be able to get the same times we booked too, or we'll have to change it all around.

Eric, you use the DCL website, go to My Disney Cruise and enter your confirmation # and birthdate. You'll be able to see your cruise reservation. As a first timer, you will not be able to book anything until 75 days out, which I believe is on 12/5 and you must be paid in full to book then, too (deadline, anyway - next cruise you'll be a Castaway Club member and can book a bit early then ;) ).

Once paid, you can do your bookings under Cruise Planning. The one thing you don't have to worry about is the kids club - there's always room for all the kids onboard. It's more to get preferred Palo or shore excursion times, and maybe spa times :confused3 that you should book ASAP. HTH.

I believe that Haley's Mom had complied a list of all of us and kids ages which will be helpful, I'm sure she'll post it soon.

If any of the girls who are around age 8 and going to be in the Oceaneer's Lab care to Pen Pal with my DD8 pre cruise, she would be interested.

Please let me know if I forgot anyone....

Thanks for making that list ... would be nice to see the people we are on the board with ....

Haley's Mom, thanks so much for making that list! Now how about an onboard DIS meet? Or a mini-meet at ther terminal?

Here are our shore excursions. DH and DS16 are booked on the Golf at Mahogany Run on St Thomas. On St Maarten, I have us tentativly booked on the Afternoon Beach Break, for all of us.

Castaway Cay, DS16 and I are booked on the 2:30 pm Parasailing. He is also on booked on the Teen Wild Side excursion. DH and DD have no booking presently on CC.

I was going to book Magens Bay Beach, but I am doubting this now. It seems like alot of money for a taxi ride. What do you all think? Another option for St Thomas, DD and I will go to Coki Beach again. There is alot to do there and I think we'll enjoy it alot more. I am so open to suggestions!

Here is a picture of the four of us from President's Week 2005.
