February 18, 2006 Magic - Who's Onboard? Roll Call post #156

Burma your right we don't need Damon we just need a leadoff hitter. I do have to admit it is going to be strange to see him all cleaned up and (in pinstripes).

Happy Holidays Everyone!!! We are so excited, My 4yr old son is already packed since we live near Buffalo NY and its cold as anything here!!! I cant believe its less than 2 months away!!!!

:wave2: We're going! I posted way back in the first few pages. Up until final payment was due I was on the fence about going on another Disney Cruise, but decided that we couldn't miss this cruise since my parents and other family members are also going. I told my daughters on Christmas Eve - it was exciting! Now, I really have to catch up on lots of things as I haven't done much research on the itinerary. Just quickly read the last 5-6 pages of this thread. I guess I'll look for you all on Feb. 18th!

Triggs and Eric -- did your daughters correspond at all? My oldest is going to be 11 and I'm sure she would love to get to know some other girls who will be in the club with her. Please PM me if they would be interested.

My youngest will be 8 in April - not really sure where I should put her as I think the 5-7 group might be too young for her. She'll do fine in either place I'm sure.

Happy New Year!
Maureen

Hey Tink Fans, glad you'll be joining us! :flower:

Getting closer now!! Who has what left to do? :confused3 I have to remember to arrange Magical Express to our resort, and to start to give some thought to packing. Weather-wise, this might be a little tricky. We've only cruised in August and October before. Any tips from those of you who've cruised in winter before, on what kinds of clothing to bring? :confused3

I'm re-reading the post backwards and answering!

We're arrving at Disney on the 16th - staying at Boardwalk and trying to squeeze a day in at the parks on 17th. Have nothing booked for St. Thomas or St. Maartan - still deciding. Although, I did make all my online registrations and registered my daughters for the clubs. Not even sure my husband knows where we are sailing to this trip (only told him Christmas Eve). He makes a good bartender though!

:sunny:

Pea-N-Me: We had really nice weather on last two February cruises. Had summer clothes with some light sweaters, jackets for night. As usual we didn't need or use half the clothes we brought with us.

Geez, it's coming up so fast. I'm so glad I decided to go. Probably would have been miserable that week.

Same to you Triggs .... hope you have a nice night ... looks like snow

Sorry I've been awol for so long but wanted to stop by and wish my fellow cruisers....

Happy New Year!

Just look at our countdown clocks......WOO HOO! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We got some disney bucks for christmas, and sandalls and tshirts and stuff, lucky for me my brother lives in florida so they can get all that stuff pretty cheap at this time of year.

I am the only who has started packing the stuff they cant use yet, got some good deals online for sunblock, we need the 50plus stuff to cover the little one and a few tattoos on the grownups LOL...

I got some ear planes ear plugs for myself and my son, I have major ear trouble on flights and read some good stuff about these, my son has had pe tubes in his ears, but only 1 is left so I figure the plugs may help him too.

shopping for swimwear in Buffalo NY at this time of year is stuff so I have been looking online for some good summer deals on last years models LOL...

Cant wait to hit the sun and sea.

rottie110 Good for you! :goodvibes You're way ahead of me as far as packing is concerned ....and sorry about your ear problems...sure hope the new plugs help!

As for me, I'm just now registering my DS11 in the Oceaneer's Lab and getting shore excursions reserved....luckily there was still availability for the ones we wanted...not as lucky with Palo's though....but that's what I get for being the world's biggest procrastinator! :p

Hi All! :boat:

Well I haven't had time to do a cruise CD, but I wanted to let you all know that I bought a 2 CD set at WalMart yesterday  called Caribbean Fun in the Sun. It's pretty good, actually! :goodvibes It has Macarena, Cha Cha Slide, Hot Hot Hot, and a few other fun songs. We've been listening to it here to get in the cruisin' mood, LOL. Can't wait for that first Pina Colada! :Pinkbounc

Hey all..

OMG disneygatorfan, do my eyes deceive me? Do I see 12 Disney cruises in your signature, six of them in 2005 alone? :earseek: :earseek: :teeth:
