Hopefully they can get to know each other. I put a little reminder that they should not put their e-mail addresses, last names, etc on the board. I know the older kids are aware, but the younger ones won't be. (just a little paranoid) I know they will probably share e-mails in PMs, which is not a problem for my kids. I think that should be up to individual families. If anyone else wants to add guidelines for the kids feel free. I just put it up quick.

Christine, I think I'll have my kids post under my name too. My oldest will probably IM, but my younger two will probably use the thread and possibly e-mail.

I'll try to point DD toward the kids' thread. She has a friend sleeping over tonight and has a room to get cleaned so that she can go to a party tomorrow! School has been out for 2 weeks, and the room isn't clean. Oh well....teens are such fun. I'm Disney dreaming....I want to cruise now!

We went to New Orleans to get my media credential this afternoon in all the pouring rain. As we turned onto Convention Center Blvd near the river, we could see an RCL ship docked at the Riverwalk boarding for today's cruise. Courtney and I both wished we could have been aboard any ship. I kept telling her 48 days, just 48 days. She kept teasing her boyfriend that he was going to be miserable without her for 8 days.

Sue is the coordinator for gathering information about the cruisers in our thread. Send you your information . . . room number, names, ages of the children, pre-cruise hotel, etc. She'll be able to tell you the info on the children. I believe it was posted in this thread within the last few pages (ages and which sex).

Lisa's right-I am keeping count of everyone. If you want me to add you to our list, just PM me the following: Names, ages/sex of travellers, your home town/state, stateroom #, dining time, pre-cruise hotel and email address. Just leave out anything you would prefer not be on the list. When the trip gets closer, I'll send the final list out to everyone and we can use it to plan meets, etc.
There are quite a few kids. A few days ago I posted a list of ages/sex.
We have also started a thread for the kids. I don't remember the link, but I know it is one of today's posts.

Yeah, our group keep growing, I have 2 DDs 9 and 11, so they are close to your daughter, we are also dreaming about the cruise.
Happy New Year's eve everyone.
We are going over to friends house to just have a quiet evening with them they have a 1 and 3 year old, and I love spending time with the little ones and then going home

Does anyone have big New Year's Eve plans? We are going to a big bash, but we are going early and leaving to be home by 8:00. We have a tradition with our kids. We (aka I) make everyone's favorite appetizers. We watch a family movie. The boys go upstairs and watch a movie, and DH and I watch one downstairs. By 11:30 the movies are done and we all watch the ball drop together and ring in the new year. Our friends really want us to stay, and knowing this group, the party will be fantastic...but in a few years my boys will be doing their own thing on New Year's Eve. There's plaety of time for DH and I to party. Right now I want to enjoy them while they still want to be with us.

Well it is back to work. It seems that the break was too short, and I am lucky we get the week off between Christmas and New Year. My girls were not happy to go back to work today......
We are really getting close to our dates, 45 days or so.

Back to reality--except for the fact that we have a cruise coming up in how many days??? 45 or so!

We leave on the 14th, so our countdown is 42 more days of reality, then off to Florida!!

Yes, he is huge! Henry is at 4 months the size my daughter was at about 8 months. He's 27 inches and over 17 pounds. It's so amazing to me after Madison who was on the small side to have this huge baby. I told my husband that he'll make me want another one sooner since I feel like I'm getting cheated on his infancy!

I know all about that and had #4. My son Carson was 9lbs 10 oz's and was 16 ounds at 2 months old!! I did feel jipped too.

Hi everyone. I am planning to send out the info I have been gathering in about a week or so. That way we can make changes/make additions if necessary. I know some people will need to update their info/ add info. If things have changes (room #, dining times, precruise hotel, email address, etc.), just let me know and I'll change it.
If you haven't sent the info, and want to be included in the list I send, please PM me the following:
DIS name, Names/ages/sex of travellers, Where you're from, Stateroom #s, dining time, Pre-cruise hotel, and e-mail address.
Just remember I will send whatever information you send to me, so if you are not comfortable giving out a certain piece of info, just omit it from what you send.

We are finally booked, our last cruise was February 2005 and we loved it, we are ready for another one, I will be travelling with DH and DD 11 and DD9 (those will be their ages at the the time of the cruise).....

Christine--remember this? October of 2005...
And we are ALMOST THERE!!!!!
