Hi everyone!

We will be cruising on our 5th Disney Cruise. It will be for our youngest son's 5th birthday. In our Party is
Me - Laura
DH - Mike
DD - Libby(11)
DD - Bella (6)
DS - Liam(5 on 2/18)

My parents are also going to be in an adjoining room. They are
Ken and Linda

I would love to participate in the Fish extenders. I've never done it before but I think the kids would really enjoy it.

We will be in stateroom 6622.

I was also wondering if anyone has thought about excursions. I am not sure if there are limitations on this board about posting excursions or not. There was one that I am looking at doing and there is a group pricing but I am not sure how we would go about doing it. You only need 10 for the group and I have 5 :)

Let me know if we can discuss it or not. It is for a dolphin swim in Grand Caymans.

Can't wait to meet everyone!
Laura!

Hi Laura,
We were looking at doing the dolphin excursion at Dolphin Cove in GC. We were looking at the encounter since my boys will be 6 and 5. Justin turns 5 on January 20 so your son is close in age to mine!
Jessica

Hi Laura
I'm not on Facebook but my big girl will be15 on boat. We are also thinking about Dolphin swim. We did it in Nassau in 2012 on DCL Dream and loved it.

Jessica did you by chance join the facebook group? Dolphin Cove is what I am also looking at but not booking it through Disney since 5 year olds can do the swim if booked directly through the company.

And Liam will love having boys his age. He is surrounded by girls at home!

He really wants to do the cruise with the super hero's but I am sure he will be happy to just be cruising! :)

I did one for my honeymoon and would just love to do it with my kids. I think it is one of those experiences that they won't forget.

Hi Laura I added you to the FE list!!!

The last cruise that I was on someone created a facebook page to share more information on. So I created a group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/207847049391335/ It is a closed group so you have to request to be a part of it. Hopefully we can share pictures and more information about the cruise.

-Laura

I would love to join your FB group I will send you a request to join!!

The last two cruises we have been on our Disboards groups had names, the May 2012 was 'Fantasy becomes Reality' and the December 2012 was 'The Dream before Christmas' . Unfortunately I can only think of 'February Fantasy'. Does anyone else have any suggestions? :confused3

Also, we would love to plan a meet on the first day to say Hi to you all. :grouphug: On our last cruise we met at the Cove Café, Deck 11 forward, which was a great location. Last May we met at the family pool at 3pm. :furious:I definitely would not recommend this, it was total chaos, so many people and we couldn't hear each other speak.

We're looking forward to hearing all your ideas on the above.

We'd also like to join the FE. We are:-
Bryan, 60:surfweb:
Elaine, the cruise is my 60th birthday celebration:cake:
Hannah, 26:mic:

I love the idea of a name but really have not thought of anything super cute...

I love having a disboard group meet I have never been on the Fantasy yet but I think it is the same as the Dream. If it is the Cove Cafe would be for adults only, which would not work for us. On the Dream we meet at the Vista Cafe on Deck 4. It worked out pretty well. I agree the pool deck is way to CRAZY..

We are on the stateroom guarantee, so we don't have a room number yet. I'll let you know as soon as we do, I believe you find out when your documents arrive.

On our last two cruises, there was a spreadsheet which the organiser could put all the rooms participating in the FE on, together with names, ages and any allergies people had. I'm not sure where I can find it, but I'll have a look tomorrow and pass the info to you. (It's late evening in the UK now, so I need to turn in for the night).

I can't believe we'll be setting off for Orlando four months tomorrow!! :cool1:
