February 15, 2007 Wonder???

Hey!!! We are from Long Island too! Isn't it a shame that we will miss you by a week. We sail on the Wonder on Feb. 22nd . Myself, DH, DS 9, DS 6. It's our second cruise on the Wonder and this time we are sailing with a group of 14! When you get back can you let me know what the weather was like so I know what to pack! That would really help! We are worried about a snowstorm here that would keep us from flying in on time.( Whats with the 60 degrees in January anyway?)
Sorry I'm jumping in on your thread but I haven't found one for my dates yet.

Hi everybody - I just realized that 6 weeks from today we will be sailing! Hope it goes by quickly!

I just found this thread. Our family will also be cruising on the 15th. This is our first Disney cruise, and my kids first cruise ever! We are doing the WDW thing before hand. We are staying at the AKL. We cannot wait:cool1: Not sure what we are doing in Nassau yet? Also, what parks are you guys planning on doing while in WDW? I have an idea, but looking for others:rotfl:
Happy Cruising:love:

Welcome! My DS (11) and I check in to the Poly on Sat the 10th! We will be going to all the parks! It's our first time at WDW, 2nd Disney Cruise. We are passholders at Disneyland and have been there a million times.

We have no plans yet for Nassau - unless I can find a good last minute rate at the Comfort Suites or Atlantis to get wristbands for their water slides. If not, we'll probably just stroll or stay on the ship.

How old are your children?

Have a wonderful time at the Poly - we were just there on 12/21! And I have tried for 3 years to get reservations there. The monorail is so great - and don't forget you are right next door to the ticket and transportation center, which is great for epcot and the other parks, hotels, etc. Also, if you get a chance, you should visit Seaworld. It's also fabulous! You may want to visit some of the other hotels, like Boardwalk or Beach Club/Yacht Club, also... that is fun going from resort .... park.... resort... park. All the resorts are so different, and its fun to see the different themes. :goodvibes

Sorry for all the unsolicited advice... when someone mentions WDW sometimes I get carried away! I'm so jealous you get to stay for so long!!!

MCourtney ~

ALL advice is welcome! Thank you. :cool1:

I am so overwhelmed, I just keep reminding myself - you can't do it all in one visit, you must come back!:rotfl: :rotfl2:

Hi Sunnimom! My family will also be at the AKL 2/11 until cruise time. We hope to make it to the parks some, but with a 9 month old and 2.5 year old, we will be content watching the animals from the rooms! Not too much longer now!!!

We will also be on the Feb 15th Wonder with our DS(6). It is our first time cruising! We are staying at the POFQ beforehand. It will also be DS first time at Disney! :cheer2:

What time is everyone planning on getting to the ship? We have late seating, anyone else?

I checked the DCL website the other night...it doesn't look like a full ship.:cool1:

36 days!!! Tomorrow will be 5 weeks....yeah!:woohoo: :yay:

We have late seating too, very excited. And I saw that they extended the Fla. Resident disc. thru March so maybe its not as booked as I had thought. ;) Planning to get to the ship around noon....

Just checking in.:)

It's getting close. The girls are so excited. We have been buying swimsuits and other 'cruise' items.

Not sure what we are doing about Pirate Night. My husband is the only one who wants to dress up. I wonder how out of place we will be if we do not dress up.??

We also have late seating. We did it on the last DCL cruise and it worked wonderfully. No rushing to get ready for dinner.

Still trying to decide what to do for a Nassua excursion. Any ideas?

Happy Weekend!
~Trish

GO YANKEES!

When we were on the Wonder in November, they handed out pirate bandanas to all at dinner. We didn't dress up....lots of others didn't either.

I think we are planning to do Atlantis on our own (non-excursion), and then some quick shopping. In November, we did the Dolphin Excursion and it was worth every single $$$! If you are considering it at all, do it. It was a once in a lifetime thing. :goodvibes

Hi,everyone!

We will be on the Wonder on Feb 15th..no children w/us. From the looks of the thread, maybe there are not many people sailing without children?

A little about us: We look forward to meeting new people on the trip! This is our second Disney cruise. We travel to WDW A LOT though! We live 2 hours away so we like to go every month or so. Our children are in college.:) :) :cutie:

Anyone else joining us during these dates? Our thread doesn't seem to be as lively as some of the others.

I spoke with a CM yesterday and she said it is pretty much sold out.

We are so excited! Planning our door decorations this weekend.:cool1:
