Do people dress up alot for the Pirate day?

There are a few adults who really get dressed up, but on our cruise they were a small minority. Most adults wear tropical, casual attire that evening. DCL gives you a pirate bandana at dinner that night and most people put that on. You will see more children dressed up. My kids wore pirate costumes and had a great time. They will definitely be dressing up again for our upcoming cruise, but I don't think I will be getting DH in a pirate getup any time soon!

OK, what are peoples plans in Cozumel? I've been e-mailing a lady in Cozumel who books excursions and she was very forth coming that many things are still closed down there until March. She added that she really can't think of anything that's operating that would accomadate us with a 3 year old. She also mentioned she *thinks* Mr Santos has re-opened but she's not sure since she hasn't made it over to that side of the island due to her own damage and repairs.

I'm so bummed that I missed the chat!!!!! This is the first time I've been on since the holiday season started! We have our own business and it was INSANE the entire month of Dec! I"m SO looking forward to this cruise! So, what did you all chat about?? Did you plan a meet on the ship? Last time we went, we met on the "secret deck". Only a couple people showed up, but it was still fun to meet everyone and have a face to go with names! I can't believe it's so close now! At this point, I could make a full time job out of getting ready!! I'm trying to pace myself and not get all haired out!
I'm happy to see some more teens are going! Kelsey, my guys are 13,13 and 15. Two eighth graders and a sophmore. Actually, one will turn 14 on the cruise.

Last nights chat was so informative. Can't wait to see the pirate costumes. Oh and so disapointed in the fact that the mud adventure only has times that won't work!! I wish we were leaving tomorrow!

We did talk about meeting in the Promenade lounge but I'm not sure details were ever finalized. Most of the chat was about excursions, reservations, transportation, kids' ages. That sort of stuff. We'll have to finalize some plans to meet at the next chat.

Ya that would be sweet ..! could you tell me where all of us are going to meet when you find out? And last year when people were in this they all wore a t-shirt showing if they were part of the chat group... is there one that we could buy?
