I have lists of my lists and yet, here I am sitting in front of the computer!

Okay...deep breaths....I"m going now...must take DD to the store and finish up our shopping!

Ok - I got a little accomplished tonight! Here's what I did:

rental car for pre-cruise trip from MCO Orlando airport to Cape Canaveral - booked

hotel room for night before cruise: booked

rental car for day of disembarkation: booked

online check-in: completed

And here I am still on this darn laptop!

Oh! And I got a load of dishes and a load of laundry done too!

Hi everyone. I have been reading every once in a while. My wife and I will be on the cruise as well. Been too busy with work and family to give my all for the dis fellow cruisers. If you see us at the port, we have the blue "first timer" shirts with all the "first" cruises we have done on DCL. Hope everyone has a great cruise. Alex and Carolyn

We will be on the Feb. 22nd cruise. Our friend told us a little about fish extenders and we would like to participate. How do we do Sign-up and what do we do when we get on board. We have 3 rooms with a 6, 9, 13 and 14 year old.
Any and all help will be appreciated!

I would think it's a little too late.
Most of the participants have already ordered their gifts to exchange.
There isn't really enough time to order more.
This is only my opinion.
If others disagree and can accomodate, please let me know so I can update the list with the new info.

I understand if others feel that we have gotten "onboard" too late. We were not able to book until last month and we have been so busy with work we have not had the chance to learn how to use the disboards. Took me longer than I thought to find the right place.

Our friend made us a Fish Extender as a gift and we are going to put together gifts and disperse them regardless. Our friend has been on several cruises and her daughter keeps telling our daughter how much fun it is to "play the Fish Extender Game" and make deliveries like Santa Claus.

So again we apologize if we are too late we are just new to this Disboards thing and I was looking in the wrong place to sign up. I was trying to do it on the mainboard and had no idea that the cruisemeets area existed.

Not sure if everyone is prepared with more gifts at this point.
So to be fair to everyone I have to hear from them before I make any changes.

Can you email me with your kids names and your stateroom numbers?
This way I will have the info to add if I can.

If you read back a few pages, we are also having a dismeet on the day we board the ship.

And a Mardi Gras mini party!

The weather in Ohio just can't make up it's mind. Just a week ago we were standing on 4 foot snow piles , now all that snow is melted thanks to 60 degree weather here yesterday. Today it just poured and poured. That melting snow plus today's substantial rainfall has resulted in massive flooding.

Ok - my wife and I decided that we will sign up...but we have one request - can we do our distribution on the first day/night? Our FE gift is something that's best distributed soon after we get on the ship (and no, it's not perishable).

Hi to our 'newly joining' us Cruisers!!!!

I'm in the 'more the merrier' camp for fish extenders. It's all about spreading some magic isn't it?

I'm getting pretty excited (although not close to packed)...one week from tomorrow (Thurs) we are on our way and the weather is looking pretty sunny and only in the 70s (knock on wood).

A big welcome to our new cruisemates!!! I just knew there had to be more DISers on our sailing! Hope everyone can join one or both of the meets. I think I found another DISer that may be on our sailing (DIS name is inmyis). I sent an invite on the main board to join our group.

Wendy, if you can get us an updated list with stateroom numbers, I am up for more FE deliveries! It is our first time doing FE's and the more the merrier!!! If some people have FE gifts that were already ordered or homemade and don't have time to do more, I think that is understandable, but I am sure all FE's will hold some goodies before the cruise is done!

Time is flying now and I have nothing done! This weekend is it! I need to get all my shopping, clothes decisions and packing set. I probably won't put things into the suitcases until the night before I leave. I've found when I pack too early, I either can't remember what I already have in the suitcase, I keep adding more or I decide I have too much and end up re-packing at the last minute anyway.

Alice_on_Wonderland - Nice rainbow picture! Strange weather, huh? A week ago, it was all snow around here. Now it is down to grass except for the big piles of snow from plows, etc. We couldn't get above freezing for over a month and now it has stayed there for a couple days. Between that and the rain, the snow is about gone. Unfortunately, I know that isn't the end of it!!! It has cooled down today and that rain was changing to snow. YUK!! I am so done with it for this season! Bring on SPRING!!!!

Call me anal...but I'm packed...except for the last of the items...ya know...my hair straightener.(still need to use)...cell phone charger (that too)....and that 19 yo that just refuse to do things ahead of time! Heck...I even bought my FE gifts about 6 months ago!

The unfortunate part of getting things done early....the time goes by slower!!

Now to get some of my personal things done so I can relax when I get back from vacation!

So any newcomers....please let Disneydarling07 know everyone attending in your party with ages and your stateroom number ....if you are confused how the exchange works....don't hesitate to ask....we'll clue you in!!

If worse comes to worse....I'll make sure I have extra copies of the FE list at our first day meeting! Or you can run around deck 6, 7 and 8 and stuff the FE....

We are down to 7 days! Lots to do this weekend!
