I logged on to DCL and our cabin # is posted. We were upgraded to Category 11!

My husband is going to make a quick trip over to the health dept. tomorrow since we can't find his birth certificate!

Still a ton of fun stuff to do before we leave!

I'm still here!!! My laptop died and the judge's went crazy scheduling hearings so I am just now getting back online with my personal stuff. DS is 4, his name is Samuel and he will actually be turning 5 while we are on board on the 24th. I hope it is not too late to do the FE exchange.

Wow...that 'It's a Small World' song is now playing loudly....your stateroom is right across the hall from ours!!! What fun!!! Maybe we'll be at the same lifeboat station too!!

Yes...it IS FEBRUARY!!! The month of our cruise!

I didn't do a bit of planning or packing this weekend- too busy. I've got time set aside next weekend to get a bunch done...I hope!!!!

My friend Debbie and I will be sailing on the 2/22 four-night to Nassau. This will be her first trip, and my third. (My first was on the Wonder to the Bahamas in 2004, then I did a seven-night Magic from L.A. to Mexico last summer.)

should be here today or tomorrow!!!!!!!!! Campinggal, So nice to meet our neighbors.. I didn't know how to make the magnets for the doors so they are scrapbook looking magnets. I know the girls will love them. D&A

17 days for me!!!

I have all my kids clothes packed....I need to match up my outfits....of course....so you know ladies....I think I alone have a hand in helping boost the economy... However....TJMaxx and Marshalls have clothes for $7...you can't pass that up.

My to do list....finish up magnets....finish up fish extender....then maybe I can relax!

I finished up my magnets and other decos.
FE gifts are done.
Dh and I went shopping for misc. stuff.
I just need to start packing stuff.
I even tried on all my bathing suits to narrow down my choices.
I want to finish up our itinerary for the days in the parks.
And I want to go over the check list for all the documentation we need to bring with.

Harmony, can you send the dates and times again for the meet and greets?

I bet that's me! Sorry, I was away from the boards this weekend. We did get an upgrade from cat 12 to 11 and are fairly close to a lot of you other DISers! We are in 6547.

I was out and about and enjoying the heat wave! It was the first time we got above freezing here in MN since some time in December. Saturday got to 46 degrees! It hasn't been that warm since November. Sunday was a little cooler, but still 36 degrees. Today is back in the frigid artic air with highs around 10 degrees. It was nice of Mother Nature to give us our 2 warm days over the weekend.

Time is ticking away fast now. This always happens to me. I am counting down forever and want it to get here and then it gets close and I feel like I don't have enough time and want things to slow down a bit! I haven't done anything about deciding on which clothes to bring so, obviously, I haven't given a thought to packing!

What was the final decision as to the meets?

even though I feel like I got a lot done, I haven't really made a dent.
I was waiting til it got closer to decide on what clothes to pack, but I'm going to have to cave in and make a decision.
The weather in Florida and Nassau for the next 10 days looks a little wet but then clears up. And both places are predicting mid to upper 70's.
I will be stalking weather.com to make sure.
I read that one cruise had to pass up Castaway Cay because of high winds.
We need lots of pixie dust to make sure that doesn't happen to us!!!

My very first DCL cruise (3 day), we missed CC due to Hurricane Dennis. I think it was 1999. We weren't able to dock at Nassau and then the next day CC was out, but we did get to Nassau that day. Talk about initiaton into cruising -- we had some BIG waves that cruise!

We were so disappointed about not making it to CC, so shortly after we got home, we booked another cruise for the following March (7 day). Since that first time, we have always made it to CC and had nice weather! Here's hoping that streak continues!!!!

Mardi Gras on the High Seas celebration:
Tuesday, Feb. 24 ~ Castaway Cay day
time - 10:30 p.m.
location - WaveBands
*feel free to wear your favorite Mardi Gras party attire!
