OK, I give up. What is GTY staus????

GTY status is a "quickie" way of saying Guarantee on your cabin assignment. I booked a category 12 and I don't have a stateroom number yet, so DCL is guaranteeing that I will have a stateroom when I board the ship, I just don't know which one yet. I'm hoping for an upgrade!

Did some more packing today....my two young boys are almost done....my 19yo is a different story. Since he is only going on the sea portion of the trip, he thinks he can prolong the packing part. Was much better when he was 2yo....then I could of taken care of the packing.

Tried to pack for myself....and with all the shopping I did...I only have 2 outfits for an 8 day vacation ....what's up with that!

I did over buy too many sleeveless shirts and the way the weather is down in Florida right now...I'm afraid I need to go shopping again.

But I have a little secret....kids are going camping this weekend....and told all my friends that I will be in Wisconsin taking a class.....so guess who is going shopping again! SSHHH!!!

Hey Wendy....don't you need to go shopping for shoes! I have a $10 coupon that is burning a whole in my purse!

Today is 23 days to go! You can only imagine how excited I'm getting. When shopping day rolls around I will be the the teens!

Alice_on_Wonderland - Did you order the FE from e-bay? If so, which one did you choose? Received mine in the mail on Monday and it's very cute and very well made. I bought it on e-bay from gradysmom (I think that was her ebay name). I still have to buy gifts, too.... better add that to my "cruise to do" list.

I have not packed or even started to pack. First I need to figure out what I am taking before I can even think about it. I usually pack the night before we leave.

We are approaching the 3-week mark until we leave for WDW and then the cruise!!!!

Hi MickyMagic! Yep, I bought one from gradysmom on eBay. Did she contact you to ask you for all the personalization, clolor choices, etc? Or did you just send her a message with that right as the auction closed? I am so excited to receive it!

Alice_on_Wonderland -- In the e-mail I got from ebay when I purchased the FE, it said to contact the seller to let her know about the personalization. I used the link in that e-mail to e-mail seller and she responded quickly. I ordered the FE on 1/17/09 and received it this past Monday, 1/26/09. I had purchased one that was already made and she just need to add the personalization to the top of the FE. You'll probably want to include your sail date, so she is sure to send it in time.

All - I saw on the board that someone on the 2/15 cruise just got docs, so it shouldn't be long now. Doesn't that mean they should be assigned room numbers soon for those of us with GTY's?

Ok, I got the email from gradysmommy - my husband has our eBay account set up so that the emails go to him! I've been checking my email all day and hadn't received anything, so I was starting to panic. But I've got it all under control!

I'm getting excited for my cruise docs! Can't wait!

Wendy - just so I know how much to order for the FE gifts... is there 6 families in our exchange?

We just got another 10 inches of snow yesterday so I'm so ready for our cruise. Of course there is still much to do but I'm making progress.

Just ordered extra batteries for my camera and video camera......extra SD on the way.....one more thing off my list...

Nope - no stateroom assignment yet. I'm really thinking we won't know until we arrive at the terminal. It will be a surprise! (As long as I'm on that ship I don't care!- It's gotta be better than being here!)
