What does everyone do to get there house ready for vacation?
with me I go on a cleaning binge.Love to come home to a nice clean house

I have to come home to a clean house! I actually splurged and have a cleaning service coming in the day after we leave. I can't come home to a messy house!

In Canada here right on the border with Detroit MI., it's freezing here today and I've got my girls trying on clothes from last summer. I need to see what fits and what I have to buy, good thing the stores are full of spring wear!

I have twin 7 year old girls so it's really hard for me to scale down and not over pack! I bought 2 new suitcases I didn't get the big ones because afraid of going over weight limit. So what doesn't it doesn't fit! I may try out that ziploc bag idea....try and get it all in!!

Did the ziploc bag idea last year and it was PERFECT!!

DH was able to get the girls dressed in coordinating ( mean no striped shirts with polka do shorts/ no pastels with primaries) outfits, no questions, no fights!!

Packed two extra zipped up bags per girl in case of spillage etc.....went as far as to ziploc our outfits and did laundry 1/2 way through ( went on the cruise and I could not board knowing I had one suitcase of dirty clothes).

Husband thought I was crazy, but once in place he loved the system,,,,,and their was no panic packing the night before!

Going again in 32 days,...little more of a challenge this time since we are in layer weather but I am ready, bring down those suitcases baby mama is going ziploc our way through!!

anything lime green will do you can go to home depot and get so Lime green mickey heads from the paint section.To decorate you window and such.My dd wants to put some in our van windows lol

I tell myself NO DIS till you get some work done, I work a lot at home on my computer.....Oh well, I promise myself I'll work extra hard when I get home. After the "Leaving the Mouse Blues" subside

We officially started our vacation today!

We picked up our tickets today, 3DD and I had a trip to the salon for a little off the top, the suitcases are out and ready to pack... time for me!

well got half of my dd autograph book done today,got 2 suitcases pack sort of lol and went and got some more lime green mickey heads for our window at POP. just look for dean556 in the window feel free to knock we might be there.
with so many at POP maybe we should have a mini meet at the pool bar??
