Maybe you'll be able to keep the secret till the Magic appears. WE were so disappointed to miss the Panama Canal cruise in 2005. We had gone on the Aug 5th cruise, the wife was working then. I'll be sure to book us on the 2008 repro from LA. We'll maybe take a nice slow drive (rental car)to LA. We spent several vacations in Colorado & Arizona, places we'd like to see again. 26 Days to go. Our new Grandson comes home tomorrow! Need to get our fill of him in the next three weeks. Thanks I just want to tell them so bad!!! But I think the look on their faces will be worth the wait!! They know our friends are going on one. Thats how my hubby and I have been able to talk about it. We would act like we were helping them!!! So when my oldest sees them at the airport in Orlando he will know!

I have had a lazy cruise filled day! Hit Staples for some door sign supplies, looked through my cruise bins again, have spent WAY TOO MUCH time on the DIS today and have created 2 very amateur door signs....but I love them! I CANT WAIT! (and I think I need a life!)

Vicki...when do you plan on telling the kids? I would love to see their faces! I really am in awe of you!

Kate...Don't worry...even if we don't have any buddies for you here, I am sure you will find many on the ship! I am sure Lilly and Leah would love to hang with you...okay, I know that isn't what you are looking for!

less then a month till the cruise and i am getting overly excited! i am still looking for someone to hang out with on the cruise and we are getting really close to the cruise date that i need to find someone as soon as possible. i'm 15 and i would like someone near my age...boy or girl doesn't matter. just send me a private message if you have someone for me to hang out with. We are not telling them. We are going to wake them up on the 2nd, let them get dressed, eat breakfast. Get in the car for school. The airport is an hour away, so we are going to head straight there! Let them figure it out. Thats what my hubby wants to do.
I would like to have them dressed ready to go,sitting in the kitchen. Then have my hubby bring the suitcases around the corner!!! He is not usually up(wierd work schedule)They would freak out!!! Plus if we are home we could film it!

Maybe I should do an informal poll!!!

I like your idea! DH is always at work when my kids wake up, so I think that would be cool!

Hello! Me(31) DH(34), DD(20 months), DD(4), MIL(?), FIL(?), we are in Rooms 7510, and 7532. We are originally from MA now in FL and in laws are from MA. We are driving to Port on Saturday! In laws are flying in on Friday and Staying at the Hyatt at the airport.

Hopefully we don't all get the stomach bug! , its going through my daughters school (but better we all get it now then in 4 weeks).

Dad (me, 39) and Mom (38) and twin DDs (turned 4 just before Xmas). This is our first Disney Cruise and our first Disney vacation as a family. We're from the Toronto area and we'll be at WDW for four nights before taking DCL transfers to PC.

Although we're looking forward to the vacation, we're slightly concerned about everything booking up on us (our dinner seating is 8:30pm - our kid's bedtime!) We've had no luck with Palo ressies at all <sniff>...

Oh well, we're on deck 7 too.

GMARK2000- I have read from MANY posters that they were able to change dining times and get Palo reservations once on board! I forget where you need to go for both, but you should probably make it your first stop when boarding!

Anyone else remember where to go to change dining and get Palo ressies??

We have planned a real life in person meet at 3pm Saturday in the Atruim at the Mickey Statue to say hello! Also, as you see recently, a birthday get together is also in the works!!
This will be my first Disney cruise so I really can't tell you the significance of the door signs...other than just for fun! There is a great thread on the main "Disney Cruise Line Forum" with pictures of door signs......sorry I don't know how to do a link. I am totally caught up in the obsessive planning so I have made a few fun signs of my own!
