February 03 2007 Eastern

I have a 5 1/2 year old for all you with 6's (she's in kindergarten). She doesn't email yet, but maybe doing some introductions at the Dis meet would help for when they are together in the club? I would introduce you all as 'Mommy's friend', that seems to make DD much more comfortable with new kids.

DD is very shy at first, then more outgoing. Likes to sing and dance a lot, she's very excited about Studio Sea and the family dance/karaoke events.

We also have DS who is almost 3 1/2. I think he will be the youngest so far from the Dis group, anyone else?

Also, on a different note, should we be able to see our cabin assignments on Wednesday online?!

Is this for the GTY cabins? My cabin is listed. Now if DCL wants to change that to .... lets say a veranda cabin......I wouldn't mind!

Just a bump up for those who may have missed this! I ordered 6 adult bands with the same message...$20 including shipping:thumbsup2

I went on line and searched out silicone wristbands today and found a place that will do them without a minimum order. The web site is www.24hourwristbands.com I ordered ours in green with Disney Magic 2/3/07 on them. They even have Disney font. The price wans't too bad either. I got 6 adult and 1 child band with shipping for 25 dollars. So we will sporting the DIS Green. Hope others will join us.

We are also very in for the meet in front of the Mickey Statue at 3pm.

Have a great day and keep counting down!:hourglass

Yes, we are in GTY status.............keeping our fingers crossed for an upgrade, but not counting on it! We know to book what we want, everything else is icing on the cake!

I had a gty level 12 last trip in jan 2006, because we didn't care what room. Got a great price. We ended up with an upgrade to a cat 9 mid ship right next to the elevator it was great. The room was a little squeekie, but we had a very rock trip, we loved the room. I would have gotten the same room but it was already booked this time.

Here pixie dust for a wonderful upgrade.

OK We have ressies for Palo on the first night. Not quite what we wanted but will take. If we get to the boat and make a ressie for another night can we cancel the one we have with no penalty? I am ot sure that the first night is a good idea. I don't want to dump the kids the first night!

WOOHOO 29 days till we fly ou!:cool1:

Just checked in to see the excitement. My wife (36)and I (38) cannot wait to go on the cruise. We got married last April and had our honeymoon in Orlando and on the 4 day cruise on the Wonder. We just moved into our new house over Christmas week, and we will consider the cruise our reward for working so hard to get everything done. We will be driving our car from Raleigh, staying overnight in Savannah on Friday, and arriving at the Port on Saturday morning. I would love to meet some of the other DISers out there.

I have been checking on the DCL site. Even if you book with a TA, you can check with your confirmation number.

GTY means guaranteed, we didn't book until September, so they guarantee us at least the category we booked, or better. I'm happy with what we booked, but an upgrade would be fun!

I'm sure it is driving you nuts! Let us know where you end up!!pixiedust:

No pixie dust this trip, got what we paid for (as it should be! ;) ) But, wanted aft and are far forward, with a connecting cabin to boot!

But, no complainin' here, 30 days and counting! (And in that 30 days, I will start a new job and put our house on the market) Where is that CRAZY similie?! It's there, but it won't work!

Yeah Baby!!! Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,
Welcome to the 30 day DANCE!!!

As of right now, there is a reservation available for 2 at Palo on the first night of our cruise (Sat.). No good for us w/ the 2 kids, but maybe one of you could use it! Good luck!

I also have two young ones, DD has just turned 3 and DS is almost 2 :)

Unfortunately neither are potty trained so they won't be participating in the clubs although I have signed them up for some time in Flounders Nursery.

I don't know if this has been mentioned on this thread but if you want to suprise someone  with a gift basket or flower arrangement, I highly recommend Perfect Gift http://www.theperfectgift.cc/ Shirley and her crew are great!

By the way, the folks on the 1/20/07 Eastern Cruise started getting their Docs Wednesday.
